Valanaar keeps its trading hub tucked away from the front gate, which is why plenty of players run a lap of the settlement before spotting it. The Bank and the Auction House share a single building near the rear of town, and one auctioneer inside handles all listings.

Valanaar is the settlement in the southern part of the Shendalar Highlands. Open your world map and look toward the bottom of the zone, and the city marker is the one you want. Everything covered below happens inside the city itself, so there is no need to leave the zone or take a portal once you arrive.

Ride into Valanaar through the main entrance archway. Keep your in-game map open if you want a bearing on how far back the settlement stretches, because the trading building is not visible from the gate.

Stay on the paved stone path leading away from the entrance. It runs past the crafting and trade supply buildings, so if you are passing profession vendors and supply stalls, you are heading the right way.

Continue to the back of the settlement until you reach a building signposted Bank and Auction House. A ramp leads up to the doorway rather than a flat entrance, which makes it easy to run past if you are only watching the minimap.

Head up the ramp and into the room. Both services sit under the same roof here, so a single stop covers bank access and auction listings.

Talk to Auctioneer Zelena Favorbreeze to confirm you are in the right place

Inside the building, look for the NPC labelled Auctioneer. That is Zelena Favorbreeze, and she is the one you interact with to buy or list items. Right-click her the same way you would any auctioneer in a capital city.

You know it worked when the auction window opens on the Browse Auctions tab, showing the search field and current listings. If nothing happens, you have most likely clicked a nearby banker or vendor instead, so check the NPC title above the nameplate before clicking again.

Commodity listings such as herbs, gems and consumables are shared between realms, so the prices you see from this auctioneer match the wider market rather than your own server’s stock.

Because the bank and the auctioneer share one room, Valanaar works well as a stop for moving materials out of storage and listing them in the same visit. Once you have been inside, the building is easy to find again on repeat trips, since the route from the entrance is a single straight run along the main path.
