Watching the stream so the progress bar moves
Find Jynxzi through the Twitch search bar. The official channel carries roughly 11.3M followers, and the Drops panel sits below the player when a campaign is running.
Two conditions have to be true at the same time for the timer to tick:
- The stream must be your active browser tab, not a background tab.
- The streamer must be broadcasting Fortnite gameplay under the Fortnite category.
- You must be logged into the Twitch account that holds the Epic link.
If the stream is showing a tournament watch party, chatting, or any non-Fortnite content, your watch time does not accumulate. The progress bar simply stays frozen until Fortnite gameplay is on screen.
Claim the Emotes before they expire
Rewards are not granted automatically. When a progress bar fills, a claim notification appears in chat, and the reward also becomes claimable on the Twitch Drops inventory page. You have roughly 24 hours to claim each one before it expires.
Keep the Drops inventory page bookmarked and refresh it after each milestone. Claiming the 30-minute Emote does not reset or interrupt progress toward the one-hour reward.
How to confirm the Emotes arrived in Fortnite
Once claimed, the reward moves from the active list to the claimed list in your Drops inventory. That is the first confirmation that it worked.
