In New Zealand the window lands after midnight, so it occupies Tuesday and Wednesday on the calendar rather than Monday. Europe and Asia get it late in the day, which leaves the whole following morning still inside the event.
How to level and bank Sprites during the 24 hours
Doubled XP only counts if the Sprite survives the trip. Progress is secured through extraction, and extraction takes time you usually do not have in a contested end game — which is exactly why the gizmos that shorten it are the most valuable thing you can carry into a Mastery Monday match.
Extract before you get eliminated
Extraction Accelerators cut down the time an extraction needs, and some versions start a nearby extraction silently so you are not broadcasting your position to every squad on the ridge. Portable Extractors do the same job for whichever Sprite you currently have equipped, letting you bank a level mid-rotation instead of gambling on a Victory Royale.
Spicy Tacos are the quiet third option. They heal you and grant a speed and stamina boost, which is often the difference between reaching an extraction point ahead of the Storm and dying twenty meters short of it.
Farming gold Sprites at Reality’s Reign
If you are missing gold Sprites outside of golden power hours, the Hush boss is the most reliable source on the Island. Hush holds position at Reality’s Reign, and a green car from Heatwave Harbor gets you across in well under a minute if the first drop is dry.
Hush has a high drop rate for gold Sprites, and drops the Mythic Scar on top of it, so the fight pays for itself even when the Sprite roll does not go your way. Be aware that lobby composition affects how gold Sprites spawn — bot-heavy lobbies behave differently from full lobbies.
What Cheat Code Locators do in a match
Cheat Code Locator gizmos point you at the nearest hidden cheat on the Island. These are the ones printed on walls, fuel tanks and other props around the map, and they have to be entered on the spot — clearing one unlocks a Sprite for use during that match only. They are separate from anything you redeem in the lobby.
Locators are worth spending on Mastery Monday rather than hoarding, since every in-match Sprite you activate is another source of doubled XP. Locations cluster around The Battlewoods, the Override Center, Reality’s Reign and Shaken Sanctuary, so a rotation through those points hits several per game.
