Grounded 2: Where to Find the Requisition Form in Shunk Pond

The Requisition Form is one of the Ominent documents tucked away in Brookhollow Park, and it is not sitting on a desk somewhere convenient. It is at the bottom of a flooded tunnel network that runs under the bridge in Shunk Pond, guarded by Diving Bell Spiders and blocked by dead roots on your first trip through.

Quick answer: Dive at -18° N / 39° E under the Shunk Pond bridge, swim down through the tunnels, and rummage the Backpack Leftovers at -21° N / 32° E.

Everything past the entrance is submerged, so plan your air before you drop in rather than halfway down the shaft. A water boatman mount makes crossing the pond surface faster, but you leave it behind at the tunnel mouth.

The dead roots partway down only need clearing once. Cut them with the Tier 3 Omni-clippers on your first visit and the route stays open afterwards.

Using map coordinates to line up the dive

Both numbers above are cursor readouts on the in-game map, not fixed markers, so open the map and drag the cursor until the degrees match. Shunk Pond sits below the Pergola and Pumpkin Patch labels, and the bridge is marked on the map itself, which makes the entrance easy to line up before you ever get in the water.

How to reach the flooded tunnel under the bridge

Cross Shunk Pond toward the wooden bridge and stop under the planks. Look for the rope hanging down from the bridge, which sits directly above the entrance at -18° N / 39° E.

Dismount and swim straight down the vertical shaft beneath the rope. It opens into a wider underwater cavern after a short drop.

Continue down into the lower tunnel and clear the dead roots with your Tier 3 Omni-clippers. Nothing weaker will cut them, so turn back now if you do not have that tier yet.

Follow the winding passage past the glowing underwater plants. A Diving Bell Spider patrols this stretch, and it will come at you in open water.

Push into the larger chamber and deal with the spider there before you go anywhere else. Once it is down, swim to the floor of the chamber and drop into the tunnel at the bottom.

Take the final tunnel and use the green and yellow glowing plants as a trail. It ends at the Backpack Leftovers at -21° N / 32° E, dropped by a dead Ominent employee.

Interact with the remains and rummage them. The Requisition Form is inside, along with whatever else the employee was carrying.

You know it worked when the document opens on screen as FORM 062B – APPLIED FIELD TEST. After that it is filed under your key items and can be reread at any point, so there is no reason to swim back down.

The proposal itself explains why the form ended up down here. Team delta recovered one of the Stranger’s weapons near the pond, and the writer wants to know whether that gear has ever been tested underwater, guessing the Stranger simply never loses it. The same employee grumbles about losing Omni-Tools to the water spiders, which reads differently once you have fought your way past two of them to find the paperwork.

Most Ominent paperwork in the park follows one of two patterns. Loose folders sit out in the open on desks and cabinets inside facilities, while the rest, including this one, are stashed on searchable remains in places the company clearly never expected anyone to reach.
