Ore is the premium material in Project Slayers 2, and it is the only way to pay for resets, boosts, and spin packs without spending Robux. It sits in your Inventory as a Mythic-rarity item, described as tender that is accepted at special counters when ordinary coins will not do. Farming it is a chest problem, not a mob-grinding problem.
Quick answer: Kill world bosses and open the World Events Chests they drop. Each chest rolls Ore at 5%, and the Yeti Demon in The White Terror Lair drops three chests per kill.
Ore drop rates and sources in Project Slayers 2
The Archives entry for Ore lists every container that can roll it. The rate is identical across the rare chest types, so the fastest farm is simply the route that puts the most chests in front of you per hour.
| Source | Ore chance | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| World Events Chests | 5% | Dropped by world bosses |
| Ice Chests | 5% | Found in frozen areas |
| Other rare caches | 5% | Includes raid camp chests |
| Final Selection | Guaranteed | Graduation reward on the Slayer path |
| Codes | Varies | Occasional Wen or Ore bundles |
Everything else in those chests is filler you will see constantly: Coin Pouch, Metal Scraps, and Refinement Ore all share the table. Refinement Ore is not the same item as Ore, so do not count it toward your shop budget.
Clearing Final Selection once on the Slayer path hands you an Ore package outright, which is faster than grinding your first few Ore through 5% rolls.

Add to Google Preferences →World boss route for World Events Chests
World bosses are the backbone of Ore farming because every kill guarantees a chest, and every chest is a 5% roll. The in-game map marks spawn points across the territories, so you can chain several without backtracking.

The White Terror Lair: three chests from one Yeti Demon
This is the single best Ore stop in the game because one boss pays out three World Events Chests instead of one. Three rolls at 5% from a single fight beats running three separate bosses across the map.
Raid camps and Ice Chests as filler stops
Between boss respawns, the best use of your time is picking up rare caches that sit on routes you are already running. Raid camps are marked by a red glowing chest guarded by Grove Raiders, and clearing the guards gives you access to the container. Ice Chests carry the same 5% Ore chance as the boss chests, which makes the frozen areas worth sweeping on the way back from the Yeti Demon.
Keep inventory space free before you start a loop. Chests dump several stacks at once, and Ore that has nowhere to go is Ore you did not earn.
What Ore buys in the shop
Open the menu shop and switch to the Ore tab to spend it. The tab covers the paid conveniences that would otherwise cost Robux.
- 2x EXP for 30 minutes
- Stat Reset
- Breathing Reset
- Fighting Style Reset
- Spin packs

Among the available purchases, Race reset matters most: it turns a Slayer back into a human for another Final Selection run or reverses a Demon experiment. Breathing and Fighting Style resets help players who selected the wrong option. Activate boosts immediately before farming or an exam window so their timer is not consumed while traveling.
If you intend to run Final Selection repeatedly using race resets, treat the Ore you just banked as the entry ticket for the next run. The loop only pays off when chest value clears the reset cost.
Ore routes carried over from the first Project Slayers
The original game handled Ore differently, and those methods still shape how players plan their farms. Chests there rolled Ore at 1% on Tiers 1 through 3 and 3% on Tier 5, while the top bosses were far more generous.
| Source | Ore chance |
|---|---|
| Akeza | 15% |
| Rengoku | 15% |
| Tengen | 15% |
| Douma | 15% |
| Tier 5 chest | 3% |
| Tier 1–3 chests | 1% |
Akeza and Rengoku shared a 15-minute respawn timer, so the standard loop was to kill both, then fill the gap with Inosuke in Beast Cave or with Map 1 bosses like Giyu, Shinobu, Yahaba, and Susamaru for chests and gear drops.

The other route was conversion rather than luck. The NPC Ouw0pp in Wop City hands over an Ore when you sell 25,000 Wen or more worth of goods, which turned haoris at 2,000 Wen and katanas at 2,500 Wen into a predictable income stream. Players also bulk-bought elixirs from Mercy and resold the stack to Ouw0pp to close the gap.

Ore prices in that shop were low by comparison, with a race reset at 1 Ore, a breathing reset at 3 Ore, and spin packs between 2 and 4 Ore. Verify anything like this in the live shop before planning around it, since the two games do not share the same numbers.
How to confirm your Ore actually landed
Open your Inventory after each chest. Ore appears as a stacked Mythic entry with the tooltip about special counters, and the stack count is the only reliable confirmation that a roll succeeded. The loot feed after a chest opening scrolls quickly, so the inventory count is what you check.
Then open the Archives and search for Ore to confirm the container you are farming still lists a drop rate. If a chest type no longer shows Ore on its table, move the loop to a source that does.
Farming Ore is ultimately about chest count per hour, not damage. Bank a small reserve before you spend anything, decide which reset or boost you actually want, and let the 5% rolls accumulate while you are running content you were going to clear anyway.
