Part 3: The Patient drops Zoe into an operating room in St. Amelia Medical Center with a body on the table and three infusion pumps that refuse to guess. Each syringe has to go into a terminal, each terminal needs a rate typed in by hand, and a central unit fires the whole set at once. Enter the wrong number and the patient never stabilizes.
Quick answer: At 88kg, the patient requires Dextracyclate 15, Tensobromide 8, and Hydroxalene 7. Prepare all three pumps, then activate them from the bedside station.
Infusion pump rates for the 88kg patient
The bedside whiteboard shows a patient weight of 88kg. On the room computer, use column three in the Medication Dosage Table; the pumps accept only those three values.
| Medication | Dose | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Dextracyclate | 2.5mg | 15 |
| Tensobromide | 11mg | 8 |
| Hydroxalene | 3mg | 7 |
The rate belongs to the drug, not to a particular terminal. Whichever of the three pumps you walk up to first, load a syringe, press SET RATE, key in that medication’s number, confirm with the tick, then press READY PUMP so the display drops into standby.

Monsters cannot enter the surgery room after Zoe, so putting all three syringes in her inventory lets her use the terminals without interruption.
How to confirm the infusion worked
When the rates are right, the bolus begins running and Dr. Glenn gives a new objective rather than a patient warning. The objective is Hospital Storage’s phone extension, 5353. A warning instead means one rate is incorrect, so compare every terminal’s setting with the dosage table.
Where to find the three syringes
Dr. Glenn provides the drugs only once the vitals and X-rays are complete, with one syringe located in each wing. Take the St. Amelia Medical Center map from the wall before departing, since monsters are already roaming the corridors. Bottles can lure them away, while a plank near the pharmacy corridor offers protection if you choose to fight.

| Medication | Dose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Tensobromide | 11mg | Pharmacy Store, Victoria Ward Ground Floor |
| Dextracyclate | 2.5mg | Bay 6, Chapman Ward First Floor |
| Hydroxalene | 3mg | Records Room, keypad code 2605 |
Tensobromide requires the short trip: exit surgery, turn right at the first opportunity, then go left along the corridor and enter the Pharmacy Store. Its syringe is inside a medical case. From the Chapman Ward ground floor, go upstairs to Bay 6 for Dextracyclate, which is in the dispenser. The office opposite Bay 6 contains the Records Room code note, and the keypad may require that note before accepting the code.
On the Chapman Ward ground floor, find Hydroxalene behind the Records Room keypad. Enter 2605, unlock the grey metal cabinet there, and remove the 3mg syringe.
Vitals readings Dr. Glenn asks for
Nothing gets prescribed until you report the patient’s condition over the intercom on the wall beside the X-ray whiteboard. Several machines around the bed are faulty, and the computer nearby explains which ranges to throw out. Report the wrong figure and Zoe takes damage.
- Blood pressure: 70 systolic / 40 diastolic, on the machine to the patient’s right.
- Pulse: 162, on the machine at the foot of the bed, deliberately just outside the listed range.
- Blood oxygen: 80% SpO2, on the machine to the patient’s left.
X-ray machine settings for the skull and chest
Once the vitals are in, your pager receives the door code for the adjacent X-ray room. That number is handed to you in-game rather than fixed across every playthrough, so read the pager before you touch the keypad. Inside, switch on the computer using the toggle under the monitor, then flick the power switch on the Zeimann machine so it comes online.
Use the monitor to pan and zoom the camera onto the patient’s head until green text reads Patient Skull – Aligned, with the four corner squares roughly over the white markers. Set the console to Site: Skull, kV 3, mA 7, Time 1, then press the green X-RAY button.

Go back to the monitor and bring the camera down to the torso until it confirms Patient Chest – Aligned. Change the console to Site: Chest, kV 7, mA 3, Time 1.2, and press the X-RAY button again.

| Scan | Site | kV / mA | Time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skull | Skull | 3 / 7 | 1 |
| Chest | Chest | 7 / 3 | 1.2 |
Both prints come out of the printer in the room. Collect the Head and Chest X-rays and hang them on the board by the intercom to unlock the prescription.
Medical Intubation Kit and the end of the chapter
While the bolus runs, leave for Reception on the surgery’s right and enter the first room on that side. Use its phone to dial 5353; the answering man will activate the elevator opposite Reception.
Ride it down to the Victoria Ward Basement and follow the corridor to the Storage room for the Medical Intubation Kit. There is a monster down here, and the radio in the kitchen will pull it away. Take the elevator back to the ground floor.
Back in the surgery, interact with the patient to start the intubation minigame. Rotate the controller until the circle begins pulsing, then hold R2 until it turns white. Do that three times and a cutscene closes out the chapter.
