Aniimo’s first big content drop is in. Version 1.1 landed with the game’s mobile release, and it brings the Windchaser’s Departure season, the legendary Aniimo Irisalis, a new top difficulty for Operation: Egg Heist, a four-player Alpha mode, four limited events and a long list of fixes. The one thing to understand is that almost none of it opened the moment servers came back — each piece has its own start time and its own rank gate.

Quick answer: Version 1.1 is now available. Chaos Mode arrives for Operation: Egg Heist on September 24 at 04:00 UTC+8, and the Irisalis season runs from September 25 at 10:00 UTC+8 until December 10.

All times below are UTC+8, the clock the game uses for every event window. Version 1.1 ships as game build b25284233, so if your client is on an older build, restart it before checking anything on this list.

500 Glimmer compensation and the mobile client

The update took the servers offline for ten hours on September 23, from 00:00 to 10:00 UTC+8, followed immediately by the worldwide iOS and Android launch. Any Pathfinder registered before version 1.1 went live qualifies for 500 Glimmer as maintenance compensation.

If you were already playing on PC or console, the mobile client uses the same account and the same regional server. There is no separate progress to build. Existing players moving to a phone should have their login details ready before opening the app for the first time.

Restart the game client once after maintenance even if you were not logged out. That is the only way to be sure you are running the patched build rather than a cached one.

How to unlock Irisalis in Windchaser’s Departure

Legendary Journey: Windchaser’s Departure is the game’s first season, and it is the only route to the legendary Aniimo Irisalis. It opens on September 25 at 10:00 UTC+8 and closes on December 10, which gives you roughly eleven weeks to work through it.

Iris Petals and the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis

The season adds a new source of Iris Petals with a weekly cap, so there is a hard ceiling on how fast you can progress no matter how much you play. Petals are the currency for both crafting steps.

Spend them first on the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis, described in-game as a special Aniipod made from energy drawn out of Irisalis Petals, built to steady the Aniimo’s chaotic power so Pathfinders can befriend it. Crafting it opens Irisalis’ Rift Space, where you forge your Twine to collect Blessing Gifts. Befriending Irisalis is what unlocks its exclusive Transmog ability, which gives your Pathfinder the creature’s own appearance with its own dye and accessory options.

Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser’s Departure

Only after the first Aniipod is built can you spend more Iris Petals on the seasonal Legendary Aniipod: Windchaser’s Departure. The Aniimo it captures is guaranteed to come in at a 100% capture rate, with Perfect Innate Potential, in Sparkling Form, carrying the season’s exclusive perks.

That guarantee belongs to the Aniipod, not to Irisalis encounters in general. Meeting Irisalis and claiming a perfect Sparkling capture are two separate crafting steps, funded from the same weekly petal supply.

Operation: Egg Heist Chaos Mode entry and drop rates

Chaos Mode is the top difficulty tier of Operation: Egg Heist, and it opens on September 24 at 04:00 UTC+8. You need Tier IV, Elite Egg Seeker, and a Chaos Ticket to enter. The mode runs at level 50.

  • Higher drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs.
  • Higher rates for Prismatic Collectibles.
  • A chance at ultra-rare Secret Collectibles, which do not appear on lower tiers.
  • Much stricter escape conditions, which is why a full group is recommended.

Because a ticket is consumed on entry, the extraction plan matters more than the loot. Agree with your team on when to leave before you spend one.

Holo-Battle Interlink uses recorded high-threat Aniimo data to recreate Alpha encounters. Its weekly availability runs Thursday 04:00 through Monday 03:59 UTC+8, beginning at Trailblazer I. A squad can include four players, with AI teammates filling any vacant positions.

You can choose among three routes, with each route featuring different Alphas and environmental mechanics, including Alpha Irisal, Alpha Tubster and Alpha Bouldus. Team buffs are selected before entering, with choices such as Assist Power and Power of BREAK, while the preparation screen shows that encounter’s challenge modifiers and recommended roles.

Routes can be replayed as often as you like. The game keeps only your best Star Rank per route, and milestone rewards pay out against your combined Star total. Helping other Pathfinders improve theirs earns Support Rewards. Both tracks reset every week.

Limited events in version 1.1

Glamour Star

Glamour Star is available from September 25 through October 2 at Student II, using Floral Soirée as its audition theme. Select an Aniimo and use the Appearance screen to style it for the theme, then the Institute rates the match on a scale from Normal to Perfect. Reaching score milestones grants rewards, making a high score more valuable than merely participating.

Aniimo Discovery

Aniimo Discovery runs September 25 to October 9 at Student II and puts a brand-new Aniimo, Dazmand, somewhere in Idyll. You spend Search Attempts to track it, and research quests at the Research Center unlock Search Buffs that improve your odds as you go. Missions include catching three Dazmands in total.

Free Search Attempts refill on a timer but do not stack. Any unused ones are lost when the counter refills, so burn them as they arrive. Vein Essence covers extra searches once free attempts run dry.

Vein Abundance

At Student II, only one named region can host a Vein Abundance Prismana Form Aniimo at once. Prismana Melloblum is in Rosetower Woods between September 28 and October 5, after which Prismana Waleetle appears in Berylline Vale between October 5 and October 12. Waleetle has the Overloaded Engine trait.

Rosetower Woods sits in Breezy Plains and covers levels 43 to 50, with 92 chests, 13 Lumin Amber and 43 ecological points across it.

Berylline Vale, also in Breezy Plains, runs from level 40 to 47 and holds 59 chests, 8 Lumin Amber, two bonfires and two transporters.

Journey Chronicles

Journey Chronicles is the login event, running October 1 to October 29 at Student I. Log in on a set number of days across the window to claim travel gifts and photo memories with your Aniimo. It asks nothing of you beyond showing up.

Quality-of-life changes in version 1.1

  • Companion Mode invites no longer require standing face to face with a friend.
  • During Companion play, any rare resources collected are distributed to all party members.
  • Foreign speech is now recognized by voice-to-text translation and automatically rendered in your language.
  • Bloom duration increased from 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Shop single-purchase limit raised from 99 to 100.
  • A Pathfinder Voiceover toggle was added under Settings, Audio, Balance.
  • Title Promotion Assessment chains are now called Promotion Series.
  • The Branch interface can be opened directly from an Outpost.
  • Home adds shortcuts to the Home Shop and Co-op Store, an E-Mode toggle in Facility Management, clearer build snapping and better controller navigation.
  • The Aniilog hides Sparkling Forms you have not obtained for now, with their previews scheduled to return in a later update.

Bug fixes and performance changes

The patch takes on three of the loudest complaints from launch week, along with general client performance work.

  • Fixed screen discoloration and red tinting on certain devices.
  • Fixed black rendering on specific GPUs.
  • Fixed infinite reconnection loops.
  • Optimized target-lock indicators and floating damage numbers.
  • Reduced UI stuttering.
  • Improved memory management and environmental asset performance.

If any of those problems were what stopped you playing, the fastest way to confirm the fix took is to revisit the exact screen or hardware setup that broke before, rather than waiting to run into it again mid-session. And if you are picking the game back up for the season, the sensible order is simple enough: bank the compensation, get your rank where the gates need it, then let the weekly Iris Petal cap set your pace through Windchaser’s Departure.
