A Fragrant Journey: In Aniimo, Berylline Vale is an optional mission connected to the Berylline Vale legend. Marlowe, a perfumer, needs you to track down an ingredient, though access to it requires completing an earlier quest. Finish both quests to receive the Perfect Mistake perfume along with a stack of currency and materials.
Quick answer: Complete The Perfect Path in Berylline Vale, collect the Stoneflower Dew from the big rock, then give it to Marlowe in the Sea of Flowers to receive the Perfect Mistake.

What you need before collecting Stoneflower Dew
The quest opens through a map marker, but the key ingredient cannot be picked up until an earlier quest breaks open the rock that holds it. Line up these two things first.
The Clue: Perfume, New Product Promotion! active in the Sea of Flowers, which leads you to Marlowe.
The Perfect Path quest completed in Berylline Vale, which shatters the rock containing the Stoneflower Dew.
The Stoneflower Dew comes from the same big rock featured during The Perfect Path. If that quest is not finished, you cannot interact with the rock to collect the ingredient.
In the Sea of Flowers, take on Clue: Perfume, New Product Promotion! This assignment brings you to Marlowe at his perfume stall. When prompted, sample the new scent; its odor makes your character lose consciousness.
After you respawn, walk back to Marlowe and talk to him again to begin the quest properly. He asks you to bring him an ingredient called Stoneflower Dew for his next perfume.
Find Baleetle Jenny at Mudstone Pass, choose Twine with Baleetle, and accept The Perfect Path. You now control a Baleetle rolling a mud ball along the trail.
Roll down the hill and speak to the pairs of Baleetles along the way to fill the optional mud ball clue counter to 3/3. Talk to Clumsy Baleetle and Traditional Baleetle, then Resting Baleetle and Unlucky Baleetle, and finally Confessing Baleetle and Gossiping Baleetle.
Roll up the grassy hill to Johnny the Baleetle, who is perched on a mud ball, and talk to him. Watch as Jenny smashes into a crystal geode and evolves into a Bouldus during the Two Minds sequence.
Race over the terrain, threading the yellow rings and activating the boost pads before the 90-second countdown expires. Completing this event transforms Johnny into a Waleetle and finishes The Perfect Path.
Talk to Marlowe and hand over the Stoneflower Dew. He blends it into the Perfect Mistake perfume, and the dialogue that follows closes out the quest.
You know it worked when Marlowe gives you the Perfect Mistake and the quest clears from your Journey log, releasing the reward payout.

Why the Perfect Mistake matters
The Perfect Mistake is more than a one-off reward. It is one of the ten legendary perfumes needed for the A Fragrant Dream questline, where each perfume gives color back to a Colorless Dream in Tideblossom Coast. The Perfect Mistake fills the cyan Land Color: Berylline entry in that chain.
Finishing every color in A Fragrant Dream is what eventually unlocks a Prismana Iris egg, so collecting the Perfect Mistake here keeps you on track for that larger reward.
