Aniimo: Omega Infergon Location and How to Beat It

Omega Infergon is the armored fire dragon that guards the large arena above Russet Highlands in Aniimo. It never appears on a timer, so waiting at its map marker does nothing until you clear the quest that switches it on. Once it spawns, the fight rewards a Fire-element boss kit that punishes ranged play and stacks Fire Debuff fast.

Quick answer: Complete the Warrior Journey quest (“Legends of Helmuts and Helgons”) in Russet Highlands, travel to the arena marker, and beat Omega Infergon with a Water or Earth damage team while breaking it during its flying breath and Ultimate.

Unlock Omega Infergon with the Warrior quest

Omega bosses in Aniimo do not spawn until you meet their unlock condition. For Omega Infergon, that condition is finishing the Warrior Journey quest inside Russet Highlands, also written as the “Legends of Helmuts and Helgons” storyline. Standing on the marker before the quest is done will not make the boss appear.

Begin by locating Sorora, the Mysterious Painter on Russet Highlands’ west side. Complete her quest in the Helmut storyline to restore Pawney’s legend and activate Omega Infergon. Once defeated, the encounter becomes available again each week.

Where to find Omega Infergon in Russet Highlands

Omega Infergon fights in the large arena overlooking Russet Highlands, in the zone tied to Crimson Peak Forest. The spawn sits at level 48–49, and the nearest fast-travel point is the Twister Peaks Bloom. Open the interactive map and head to the Infergon marker once the Warrior quest is complete.

Omega Infergon weaknesses and stats

Omega Infergon is a Fire defender. It takes extra damage from Water and Earth and shrugs off Fire, Grass, and Ice. Build your damage around Water or Earth attackers and leave homing or projectile snipers on the bench.

The boss version scales far above the wild creature. Its HP balloons into the six figures at the spawn levels, so BREAK pressure matters more than chipping the health bar.

How to beat Omega Infergon

The fight is awkward because Omega Infergon’s hitbox is inconsistent and it spends time in the air, so a pure melee Break attacker often ends up chasing it around the arena. The reliable plan is to wait for its openings, break it, and then dump damage while it is vulnerable.

Bring a team led by Water or Earth damage. Its Gale Charge reflects incoming flying projectiles mid-charge, so ranged and homing teams risk hitting themselves. Physical, melee, or non-projectile damage handles it more cleanly.

Watch for its flying fire breath attacks. After it finishes a flyby, it dives and slams into the ground, entering a weakened state that takes increased Break damage. That landing is your best window to pile on BREAK.

Shatter its fire crystallites when the prompt warns they are about to explode. Breaking them opens safe zones and lets you avoid the shock wave that follows.

Use BREAK as soon as the Ultimate cast begins to stop it. Hot Breath from the air hits a wide area, inflicts eight Fire Debuff stacks, and the trait deals 30% more damage to targets with at least five stacks, making extended battles increasingly dangerous.

Once it enters BREAK or BREAK Recovery, it takes greatly increased damage. Burst it down here with your strongest skills before it recovers and takes flight again.

Warning circles appear on the ground before its attacks land. Dodge as soon as they show rather than reacting to the animation.

Rewards and the weekly claim limit

Claiming an Omega chest costs 50 Primegy per attempt. First-clear rewards are richer than the repeatable drops, and Starcryst Essence appears in both, which you spend to raise an Aniimo’s Potential.

There is a hard weekly cap. You can claim only three Omega reward chests per week across all Omega bosses combined, including Sherro and Tuckin. Defeating Omega Infergon after you hit the limit gives no chest, and the game shows a notice that you have reached the acquisition attempt limit for the week.

Confirming the clear and what it unlocks

You know the fight worked when the Omega chest opens and pays out its rewards, and the Warrior quest updates to mark the Infergon as defeated. Beating Omega Infergon also satisfies one of the requirements to evolve your own Infergon.

To get the Nova-stage Infergon afterward, you need a Helmwhelp (or Jawling) with Perfect Potential at level 48, plus the evolution material, once the Omega is down. Note that Mountain Jawling and Mountain Helmwhelp cannot become Infergon, since they evolve into Mountain Helgon instead.
