Aniimo: A New Journey Main Quest Walkthrough

A New Journey is the final Main Story quest in Aniimo’s launch build, and it wraps up the events of Tideblossom Coast with two short objectives and no combat. Once you finish it, the campaign opens up and you are free to roam Idyll on your own terms.

Quick answer: Talk to Nicole and choose to return to Bloomville, then find Sunia at the plaza after Estee sends you there from the perfumery. The lengthy plaza dialogue ends the quest.

How to unlock A New Journey

A New Journey becomes available automatically once you finish the previous chapter, Rainbow of the Ground. That means defeating Irelia and watching the closing scene of that quest, after which the new objective appears on your journal and points you to Tideblossom Coast in the Breezy Plains region.

There is no separate level or title gate to clear before starting it, so you can begin the moment Rainbow of the Ground is done.

A New Journey walkthrough

Bring up the map and choose A New Journey, then select Track. Follow the objective marker to Nicole, who is on a small island in the Breezy Plains alongside the butterfly creature Valporia.

Run up to Nicole to trigger the dialogue and watch the tribute cutscene for Irelia. When Sunia asks whether you want to stay in the area or head back, choose to return to Bloomville to move the story forward.

After the scenes and a Day Two transition, the tracker sends you to the perfumery to look for Sunia. Leave the cottage and follow the path down through the lavender fields.

Sunia will not be at the perfumery. Speak with Estee at the perfume stall, and she tells you that Sunia has already left for the plaza.

Follow the updated marker across the lavender hill toward Bloomville plaza to find Sunia at the square.

Talk to Sunia in the crowded plaza and work through the closing dialogue. This is a long conversation, and finishing it completes A New Journey.

How to know it worked

When the plaza conversation ends, the “Sunia Begins Her Journey” completion card appears, followed by a cinematic overview of Bloomville with the Main Story: A New Journey title card. After that, control returns to you and the Main Story tracker no longer shows an active campaign quest.

Completing the “Return to Bloomville” step also opens the A Fragrant Dream Journey quest at Tideblossom Coast, where you go check on the sleeping Iris seedling at the center of the Amethyst Tree. From here you can explore Idyll freely and pick up the regional Journey and Growth Story content at your own pace.
