Razor Hill Priest Trainer Location: Finding Tai’jin in World of Warcraft

The Priest Trainer for Horde players starting in Durotar is a Darkspear troll named Tai’jin. She sits inside the town’s most obvious landmark, the Razor Hill Barracks, and teaches the Priest spells and higher ranks you pick up as you level.

Quick answer: Enter the Razor Hill Barracks in central Durotar, walk through the main gate between the two Razor Hill Grunts, and turn right. Tai’jin <Priest Trainer> stands against the back wall under a red Horde banner.

Tai’jin, the Razor Hill Priest Trainer

Tai’jin is a female jungle troll who carries a one-handed mace. Despite her armored look, she is a Priest trainer, not an orc guard. Talking to her opens the training window where you can learn new Priest abilities and upgrade ranks.

How to reach Tai’jin in the Razor Hill Barracks

Razor Hill sits on a crossroads in central Durotar, north of Sen’jin Village and the Valley of Trials. The Barracks is the single largest fortified building in town, so it is easy to spot from the open dirt grounds.

Run to the center of Razor Hill and head toward the large stone fortress. This is the Razor Hill Barracks, and its arched entrance faces into the town.

Walk through the main arched gate. You will pass between two Razor Hill Grunts and enter the corridor that leads into the building.

Once inside the hallway, turn right through the archway into the open training chamber. This is where the class trainer stands.

Look along the back wall beneath the red Horde wall hanging. Tai’jin stands there with her name floating in yellow as Tai’jin <Priest Trainer>.

Training Priest abilities with Tai’jin

Right-click Tai’jin to open her dialogue. As a Priest, she greets you with the line “I do what me can to train you in the priestly ways.”

Choose the “Train me.” option. This displays “I can train you to become a greater priest.” and opens the list of available Priest skills and spells for your level.

You know it worked when the training window appears with purchasable abilities and rank upgrades. If you play a class other than Priest, Tai’jin will not train you and instead warns you to respect the Darkspear ways.

Other class trainers in Razor Hill

If you took a wrong turn and you are not a Priest, Razor Hill hosts several other trainers around town. The Warlock trainer, Dhugru Gorelust, is not in the Barracks. He stands in an encampment set against the canyon wall, alongside Ophek.

Near that same area you can find Kitha, a Demon Trainer for Warlocks. Razor Hill also holds Kaplak the Rogue trainer, Harruk the Pet trainer, and profession trainers such as Dwukk the Blacksmith.

For Priests, though, the trip is simple. Head to the Barracks, step through the front gate, turn right, and Tai’jin is waiting under the Horde banner to teach you everything your class needs in Durotar.
