Slayers 2: How to Get Max Demon Progress Fast (Full Guide)

Demon Progress in Slayers 2 tops out at Level 4 {Max}, and the fastest way there is turning defeated enemies into souls as quickly as they can respawn. The single best farm loops the Mizunoto slayer NPCs at Mistfall Harbor while a paid boost doubles every soul you collect.

Quick answer: Buy the 2x Souls (30m) boost for 7 Ore, then farm the Mizunoto group at Mistfall Harbor with area-of-effect skills. Each Strong Soul gives +20 Demon Progress until you hit Level 4.

Become a demon before farming Demon Progress

Demon Progress only exists once your character is a demon, so complete the transformation first. You need at least -40 reputation, then find Man (Muzan), who spawns at one of three places on the map. Talking to him with the reputation requirement met hands over the Biwa Bell and opens his quest.

His quest asks for Spider Lilies, which only appear at night near lakes and shorelines, and it also sends you to capture and deliver Dr. Higoshima. Scaling the mountain path with double jump and wall climb makes reaching him easier, and you can outrun the Mizunoto slayers to the safe zone rather than fighting them all.

Finishing the delivery and collecting the last Spider Lily rewards Muzan’s Blood. Drink it from your hotbar at night to trigger the transformation and unlock the Demon title. From here, Demon Progress starts counting.

Soul types and Demon Progress values

Defeated NPCs drop souls that fill your Demon Progress bar. Stronger enemies drop better souls, and other demons drop nothing at all, so always farm NPCs rather than players in demon form. The three tiers and their values are below.

Fastest way to max Demon Progress: Mizunoto farming at Mistfall Harbor

The Mizunoto slayers that patrol the Mistfall Harbor path respawn in roughly 10 to 15 seconds and drop Strong Souls. Grouping them and clearing the pack with area skills, then repeating on each respawn, out-paces every other method because you never wait on long timers.

Travel quickly to Windy Peak Shrine. From the beginner town, go downhill through the Wilderness and enter Mistfall Harbor, where a group of Mizunoto slayers stands beside the harbor route.

Open the in-game Shop and switch to the Ore tab. Purchase 2x Souls (30m) for 7 Ore so every Strong Soul is worth +20 Demon Progress instead of +10.

Pull the Mizunotos into a tight group and hit them with area-of-effect blood manipulation or sickle skills. Clearing several at once drops multiple Strong Souls per cycle.

Claim the souls, wait for the Mizunotos to respawn, and repeat the loop. With the boost active, the bar climbs fast enough to reach Level 4 in a handful of cycles.

Blood Manipulation requires a sickle, so keep one equipped for the widest clears on tightly packed groups.

Crate guards and boss rotation as backup methods

Clearing the guards around chests works well when you can handle the higher tiers. Tier 3 guards in Iceveil Valley drop several Strong Souls from the minions plus a Brave Soul from the leader, enough to push from Level 1 into Level 2 in one clear. Stick to a tier you can beat comfortably, since Tier 1 guards are far easier to farm.

Boss rotation

World bosses such as Shinora and Obari guarantee a Brave Soul worth +25 Demon Progress. The catch is that they take longer to defeat and carry lengthy respawn timers, so a single Brave Soul rarely competes with a steady stream of Strong Souls from the harbor farm.

Confirm Level 4 and the Max buffs you gain

To check progress, press M, open Player Info, and select Progression. You know the farm worked when the bar reads Lv 4 {Max} and the stat increases appear on your character. Level 4 is the cap, so there is nothing further to grind once it shows.
