The Anubis Event in Grow a Garden, the Roblox gardening game, adds a new currency and a shop to spend it in. Trader Tina runs the Anubis Coin Shop. Almost everything she sells stays locked until you complete digs for Archeologist Archie.
Quick answer: The shop has 11 items, from Wraproot at 60 Anubis Coins to the Hiero Scorpion at 13,500. Only Wraproot is open from the start. The rest need 1 to 15 Ancient Archeology Excavations.
Anubis Coin Shop items, prices and unlock requirements
Every price is in Anubis Coins. The rows follow the order the items appear in the shop window, top to bottom. The last column shows how many completed excavations each card asks for.

| Item | Type and rarity | Price | Excavations to unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wraproot | Seed, Uncommon | 60 | None |
| Hieroglyph Carpet | Cosmetic, Uncommon | 150 | 1 |
| Hieroglyphic Radar | Gear, Rare | 250 | 2 |
| Anubis Crate | Crate, Rare | 500 | 2 |
| Quicksand Mummy | Cosmetic, Rare | 450 | 4 |
| Papyrus | Seed, Legendary | 900 | 4 |
| Hieroglyphic Staff | Gear, Legendary | 1,250 | 4 |
| Anubis Egg | Egg, Mythical | 3,000 | 6 |
| Obsidian Obelisk | Cosmetic, Mythical | 1,000 | 6 |
| Pharaoh’s Eye | Seed, Divine | 5,000 | 10 |
| Hiero Scorpion | Pet, Prismatic | 13,500 | 15 |
A locked card hides its price behind a padlock and shows a requirement line instead. The game spells the activity “Ancient Archeology” on these cards. The Hieroglyph Carpet, for example, reads “Complete 1 Ancient Archeology Excavation to unlock”, and the Hiero Scorpion reads “Complete 15 Ancient Archeology Excavations to unlock”. Locked items also show “X0 Stock”.

What each Anubis Coin Shop item does
- Wraproot, Papyrus, Pharaoh’s Eye: seeds added in the latest update.
- Hieroglyph Carpet, Quicksand Mummy, Obsidian Obelisk: cosmetics for your garden.
- Hieroglyphic Radar: “Scans and collects fruits with Hieroglyphic mutation!”
- Hieroglyphic Staff: “Grants extra Hieroglyphic mutations during a Dune Storm”, the sandstorm weather.
- Hiero Scorpion: this pet stings your lowest-level pet to earn XP and may rarely inflict the Hiero Venom pet mutation.

The Anubis Egg and the Anubis Crate are both timed. The egg hatches in 4 hours and the crate opens in 1 hour. Their odds are below.

Anubis Coins come from one place. You sell Hieroglyphic fruit to Trader Tina. Fruit picks up the Hieroglyphic mutation during the sandstorm weather, which rolls in every hour, so grow during a storm and bring the mutated harvest to her.

Check the lower-left corner of the screen: your balance appears beside a gold Anubis coin icon, above your Sheckles (¢). A larger total after you hand in fruit confirms the sale went through.

Anubis Coin Shop restock timer and stock
The shop’s inventory refreshes at the start of every hour (UTC). Check the header countdown to see the remaining time. For instance, at roughly 10:29 UTC, it shows “Restocks in 31m 2s”. On each refresh, every item has a chance to appear, but available items come in limited quantities. Wraproot, for example, may display “X2 Stock”. If the item you need isn’t there, check again after the next hourly refresh.
The header also has a “RESTOCK: 1B¢” button, which forces a restock for 1B Sheckles. You don’t need it. The free hourly restock works fine.
How to unlock Anubis Coin Shop items with Ancient Archeology Excavations
Every item after Wraproot needs excavations, and those come from Archeologist Archie. His “Ancient Archeology” dig is further west, past Tina’s stall. Archie asks for plants that share one trait, such as “Looking for Root plants!”. That trait changes every 30 minutes, so check what he wants before you harvest.
Archie counts plants by weight, not by number. Each find has a weight target, and every find you complete counts as one excavation. The first find asks for 8 kg and shows “0kg/8kg” when you start, and finishing it pays out “1x Anubis Crate”. Every handover updates the progress bar. Turning in eight Carrots, a Root plant, returns “Submitted 8 Root plants for +2.54kg! (2.54kg/8kg)”. Light plants fill the bar slowly, so heavier harvests get you there faster.

| Find | Weight needed | Find | Weight needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 8 kg | 9 | 95 kg |
| 2 | 12 kg | 10 | 130 kg |
| 3 | 18 kg | 11 | 140 kg |
| 4 | 25 kg | 12 | 170 kg |
| 5 | 35 kg | 13 | 200 kg |
| 6 | 45 kg | 14 | 240 kg |
| 7 | 60 kg | 15 | 285 kg |
| 8 | 75 kg |
Add those targets up and you can see how far each unlock really is. The Anubis Egg needs the first six finds, 143 kg in total. Pharaoh’s Eye needs the first ten, 503 kg. The Hiero Scorpion needs the first fifteen, 1,538 kg. Once you reach an item’s excavation count, it unlocks, and you can buy it whenever it is in stock.
