Carbon Copy is a side story in The Park, where a survivor named Heidi refuses to evacuate until someone confirms that her identical twin sister, Hannah, is safe. Playing as Dylan Faden, you agree to cross the mold-covered rooftops, reach their old apartment, and bring back word. The quest is short, but it runs through hostile airborne enemies before you can finish it.
Quick answer: Talk to Heidi in The Park to receive her Old Apartment Key, cross the rooftops south to the apartment, clear the flying mold enemies, speak to Hannah in the bedroom, then return to Heidi to earn the Untapped Mother’s Locket.
Where to start Carbon Copy in The Park
The quest begins near the East Supply Route Station area of The Park. Heidi hides inside an elevated, lit concrete structure surrounded by blue crystalline mold. Open your map first to line up the route, since the fastest approach is a drop from a higher rooftop into her open-air shelter.

To reach the shelter, jump down from the high rooftop and glide across the mold growth into the building below.
Speak with Heidi inside the shelter. She explains that she will not leave until she knows Hannah is alive and asks you to check their formerly shared apartment to the south. She hands over Heidi’s Old Apartment Key.
Open the quest log and map to confirm the apartment marker. The objective “Find Heidi’s Twin Sister in the Park” points to the building to the south, so set it as your tracked waypoint before moving out.
Travel south across the mold-covered rooftops, using the mold formations to bridge the gaps between buildings. Follow the yellow waypoint until you reach the roof of the marked apartment.
Clear the rooftop before entering. Glowing, flying mold organisms patrol the roof and launch projectiles at you. Destroy every one of them so you can approach the stairwell door safely.
Speak to Hannah in the bedroom. Let her know that Heidi sent you and that an FBC evacuation team will help them leave. She confirms she is safe and ready to go, which updates the objective to “Return to Heidi.”
Cross the rooftops in reverse to return to Heidi’s hideout, then speak with her once more. Tell her Hannah is alive to finish Carbon Copy.

Finishing the quest gives you the Untapped Mother’s Locket. Along the way you also pick up a story document and any resources dropped by the rooftop enemies.

You know Carbon Copy is done once you finish the second conversation with Heidi. The side story closes out in your quest log and the Untapped Mother’s Locket lands in your inventory. If the log still shows “Return to Heidi,” you have not spoken to her again yet, so head back to her shelter to wrap it up.
