The Cat Picnic is a hidden secret in Control Resonant, tucked into a quiet courtyard in the Central zone. It centers on a checkered picnic blanket that is missing its props. Set the scene correctly and three cats appear having tea, letting Dylan sketch the moment into his notebook for a small reward.

Quick answer: Drop the wicker picnic basket, the red cat food carton, and the metal bowl onto the checkered blanket, then press the Draw prompt once the three cats appear.

Where to find The Cat Picnic in Central

The secret is at Central 4 / West Incursion Zone 3, southwest of the Patterned Factory and east of the Field Office. Follow signs for Central and The Park through the industrial corridors, then continue into the sunlit streets outside.

Look for a residential townhouse facade with brick paving and park benches. A blue-and-white checkered picnic blanket rests on the patio, marked with a floating eye icon and a “Cat picnic — SECRET” prompt reading “Visit this location to reveal a secret.”

Place all three picnic items on the blanket

Three props are scattered around the courtyard. Grab each one with the telekinesis button (L1) and drop it onto the blanket. Order does not matter, but all three must be in place.

Pick up the wicker picnic basket lying next to the overturned bicycle on the ground. Carry it over and drop it onto the checkered blanket.

Once you reach the raised planter ledge by descending the brick steps, take the red cat food carton resting there. Bring it back and place it on the blanket.

Head to the wooden park bench to the side and collect the metal bowl. Place it on the blanket alongside the other two items.

Trigger the sketch and complete the secret

Once all three items sit on the blanket, three spectral cats materialize around the tea set, and Dylan says, “Looks about right, I think.” That confirms the setup is correct.

Step back toward the stairs and approach the blanket until the “Draw” prompt appears. Press it to start the sketch.
