Blessed Aniimo Explained: How to Catch Them for Lumin Amber

Why the glowing wild creatures aren't rare, how to capture them, and what the Lumin Amber they drop is for.

Why the glowing wild creatures aren’t rare, how to capture them, and what the Lumin Amber they drop is for.

Out in Idyll you will eventually bump into a wild creature wrapped in a soft, glowing sheen and tagged “Blessed.” It looks special, but the glow is the only thing that sets it apart. A Blessed Aniimo is an ordinary wild creature that happens to be carrying a piece of Lumin Amber, and the whole point of hunting one is the material it drops when you catch it.

Quick answer: To secure one, throw any Aniipod at a Blessed Aniimo as you would for an ordinary creature. Once it drops the Lumin Amber, go over and collect it before leaving the area.

What a Blessed Aniimo actually is

The “Blessed” label marks any wild Aniimo that currently holds Lumin Amber inside it. The luminous coat you see comes entirely from that held material, not from a unique skin or particle effect. It is not a rare species, not an alternate form, and not any stronger than the normal version of the same creature.

The game’s actual appearance variants are Sparkling (Shiny) and Umbral Aniimo, whose distinctive designs are permanent. In contrast, a Blessed Aniimo has its species’ standard model; after you catch it and collect the amber, it joins your team with an entirely ordinary appearance.

Do not expect the glow to stick around. The shine is tied to the amber, so the moment the creature drops its Lumin Amber, nothing about it stays luminous.

How to catch a Blessed Aniimo and grab the amber

To capture one, use the same method you would for any wild creature: no separate quest, activation, or required item is involved. Success depends on just two actions—make the catch, then pick up the material left behind.

Locate a wild creature glowing with the “Blessed” mark and get it in your sights. Ready the Aniipod you intend to throw. You can start with a weaker option, such as the Aniipod Trace, to track or weaken it.
Launch the Aniipod chosen for capture and see whether it lands. Using a higher-tier pod improves the odds substantially: against a Level 29 Blessed Emberpup, an Aniipod Pro produced a 90% catch chance. Since only one glow appears at a time, spending inexpensive pods on it makes little sense.
Once you capture it, the Blessed Aniimo leaves its Lumin Amber on the ground. Collect the drop before departing; the creature will not transfer the material to storage. The message “Lumin Amber x1” confirms the pickup.

Catch rate drops hard if the creature out-levels you. Approach a target well above your level and an “Overpowered” penalty applies, multiplying your chance by 0.1 and throwing up a warning that your level is too low. A Level 53 Blessed Bulbly at Tideblossom Coast, for instance, sat at a 10% chance for an under-leveled player even with Aniipod Mega and Hyper throws stacked.

A failed capture doesn’t permanently remove it: exit the area and return later, and the Blessed Aniimo will reappear at that same location for another try.

What Lumin Amber is for

A Branch—the sacred tree present on every map—grows using Lumin Amber alone. Use the Branch’s Infuse Energy action to add it, with each amber supplying one progress point. The tree grants a blessing after every 10 amber; fully completing one takes 15 blessings, or 150 amber.

Those blessings steadily improve the region around you. Early steps include Lucky Encounter at 10 amber, which raises your catch chance in the region by 10%, with later tiers lifting your stamina cap and cutting stamina use. At 60 amber, Prismana Radiance lets you change the weather to draw out Prismana Aniimo, and at 120 amber Earthwake Revelation shakes open hidden caves.

Amber is specific to each map. Lumin Amber obtained from a Blessed Aniimo in the Breezy Plains can only be used at the Breezy Plains Branch, so gather and infuse it in that region.

Other ways to gather Lumin Amber

Blessed Aniimo are only one source. You can stock up the same regional amber through several routes, which is worth knowing when no glowing creature is nearby.

  • Open-world pickups scattered across the region.
  • First-win rewards from defeating Alphas and Omegas.
  • Clearing Sanctums.
  • Catching creatures in that region also adds progress to its Branch.

Blessed encounters that count toward research

Several species list a Blessed encounter as one of their research or Sanctum tasks, so a glowing spawn is sometimes more than free amber. Finding the Blessed version of these creatures ticks a box in their log entry.

Celestis has a task to encounter a blessed Celestis in the trees, tied to its Sanctum work with Dr. Glass. It is a Dark-element flyer found across the Breezy Plains, including the Forest of Falling Stars and The Argent Strait.

Chirpi asks you to encounter a blessed Chirpi as part of its completion tasks. This Wind-element support creature roams Nimbus Fields, The Argent Strait, Blitzwood, and Beast Fang Ridge.

Hummin lists encountering the blessed giant Hummin in Mistwoods among its tasks. The Grass-element creature also appears in Nimbus Fields, The Argent Strait, Blitzwood, and the Forest of Falling Stars.

Baleetle has a task to encounter a blessed Baleetle among a pile of rocks. The Rock-element creature lives in Berylline Vale.

Whether you are chasing a research tick or just keeping your Branch climbing toward its next blessing, the routine is the same every time. Spot the glow, throw a strong enough pod, and scoop up the amber before you move on. The creature you keep will look plain, but the material it hands over is what quietly powers up the whole region.
