The Firstlight Bladed Wagasa is an end-game weapon in Slayers 2 that you can only craft after collecting its schematic from a hidden NPC named Wagasa Maker Genzo. Genzo does not appear on the map by default. You have to trigger his spawn with a specific challenge while wearing the right gear, and he refuses to teach anyone who is not already carrying an upgraded umbrella.
Quick answer: Craft and equip the Firstlight Mask, keep a Damascus Wagasa in your inventory, then push the training boulder up the hidden path at Windy Peak to spawn Genzo and speak with him.

Requirements before you start
Three things must be true before Genzo will hand over the schematic. Line them all up first, because the boulder challenge only matters once the other two pieces are ready.
A crafted Firstlight Mask, equipped on your character.
A Damascus Wagasa in your inventory, which is the V2 upgrade of the Bladed Wagasa.
Access to the boulder training area at Windy Peak.
You do not need to be a Demon for this. Human Slayers can receive the schematic as long as the Damascus Wagasa is held in the inventory.
Get the Firstlight Mask schematic and craft it
The mask is what lets Genzo spawn during the boulder challenge, so this is the first job. Its schematic sits in a hidden underwater cavern rather than on any shop counter.
Travel to Jan Mist Village and dive into the underwater tunnel system beneath it. Follow the passage until you reach the rock wall next to Tai Chi Trainee Suzume.
Equip the mask once it is crafted. The Firstlight Mask is a Tier 1 Tank piece with +1.05x Damage Reduction Factor, 1.09x Health Regen Speed, +160 Max Health, and +43 Max Stamina. Keep it on for the boulder challenge, since Genzo will not appear without it.

Farm the Bladed Wagasa and upgrade it to Damascus
Genzo only teaches players who already own the upgraded umbrella. That means you need the base Bladed Wagasa first, then its V2 version, the Damascus Wagasa.
Open the map and locate Fujiko in Final Selection Plains, marked with a mystery marker down by the water. This is the boss that drops the Bladed Wagasa.

The Bladed Wagasa is a very rare Legendary drop, reported at around 0.5%, so expect a long farm. As a weapon it grants +2 Additional Damage, a 1.04x Additional Damage Factor, 12.4 Block Points, and passive Sun Immunity.
Once you own the base Bladed Wagasa, upgrade it into the Damascus Wagasa (V2). Genzo checks for the Damascus version specifically. If you approach him with only the base umbrella, he turns you away with the line, “Come back when you carry a ‘Damascus’ wagasa. I have nothing to teach a man holding a market piece.”
Spawn Wagasa Maker Genzo at Windy Peak
With the mask equipped and a Damascus Wagasa in your bag, the final step is the boulder challenge. Genzo appears only when you push the training boulder along a hidden route to the top.
Travel by fast travel to Windy Peak Shrine, then go into the boulder-pushing training area. Put on the Firstlight Mask before making contact with the boulder.
Instead of following the normal training route, push the boulder up the unmarked incline. A floating white arrow marks the secret path, so follow it up the slope.
Look for Wagasa Maker Genzo, who now stands beside the tree next to the ledge. Talk to him while carrying the Damascus Wagasa to receive the Firstlight Bladed Wagasa schematic.

How to confirm the unlock worked
You know the challenge registered when the “Come and see me.” prompt shows on screen and Genzo becomes visible under the tree. Genzo only speaks a teaching dialogue when the Damascus Wagasa is present. If the base Bladed Wagasa is all you carry, he gives the “market piece” refusal instead, which is the clearest sign the upgrade is missing.
Demon status does not change the outcome. The developer has confirmed that the Damascus Wagasa in inventory is the only gate on the schematic, so human Slayers can complete the exchange the same way.
Firstlight War Fans schematic
The Bladed Wagasa is one of the seven Firstlight weapons, and the War Fans sit in the same end-game craft pool. Unlike the umbrella, the War Fans schematic comes from a long questline that runs from Butterfly Estate through Windy Peak and ends at Iceveil Settlement. You need to be Level 100 or higher.

Gather 9 Cooked Meat. Kill Bear Cubs and Bear Mama at Bamboo Grove for Raw Meat, then bring it to Lucy at Windy Peak. Each turn-in gives three, so repeat it three times.

Buy 25 Health Elixirs from Alchemist Meku on the Mistfall Harbor docks, which costs 50 Demon Horns and 8,750 Wen. You will hand these in alongside the meat.

Go to Iceveil Settlement and talk to Iceveil Guard Shiro. Place the Cooked Meat and 25 Health Elixirs into the cart behind him to finish his supply quest, which opens the settlement.

Complete the clue chain. Do at least one quest from Shiori at Butterfly Estate, finish Dockmaster Sofen’s quests at Mistfall Harbor, talk to Old Trapper Retsu at the Iceveil entrance using the “Lantern on your belt” option, then return to Lynx for the final hint.
Head to the top of the Iceveil Settlement map, find the prominent snow pile near the houses, and dig it with the Shovel to claim the Firstlight War Fans Schematic.

With Genzo’s schematic in hand you can return to your blacksmith and craft the Firstlight Bladed Wagasa itself, giving Demon builds a weapon that carries Sun Immunity without leaning on a separate hat.
