Graveyard Keeper 2: Personal Zombie Zone Quest Guide

Albert is after a zombie bearing at least eight red skulls, positioned on the special table in his Plague Doctor’s Lab. To fulfill the request, unlock several Anatomy and Alchemy technologies, buy gold, brew alcohol, and put a corpse through the complete embalming and resurrection process before bringing the finished zombie to him.

Quick answer: Embalm a corpse with a gold-tier Solution for Zombies to reach 8 red skulls, resurrect it at Resurrection Table I with a Golden Zombie Collar, then carry it onto the table beside Albert in the Plague Doctor’s Lab.

Technologies you need first

Open the Anatomy and Alchemy tech tree and unlock the nodes that gate embalming and reanimation. Without these, the crafting stations and recipes below will not be available.

Embalming I — grants the Embalming Table I blueprint and the Preservative recipe.
Reanimation Liquid — needed to reanimate the body at the Resurrection Table.
Golden Zombie Collar — unlocks the collar that supports up to 10 red skulls.
Recipes for Alcohol and Solution for Zombies, which feed the embalming step.

The Bronze Zombie Collar caps a zombie at 5 red skulls, so it cannot satisfy this quest. You must use the Golden Zombie Collar, which supports 0–10.

Craft the Golden Zombie Collar

Travel to the pier in the Port Area and buy Golden Nuggets from the Trademaster. You need four nuggets for a single ingot.

Take the nuggets to Furnace II in the Yard and smelt them into a Golden Ingot. The recipe consumes 4 Golden Nuggets and 20 fire.

At the Writing Basement’s Jewelry Table, make a Golden Zombie Collar from 1 Golden Ingot and 1 Gold Jewelry detail.

Brew Alcohol at the Distillation Cube

Purchase beer from the tavernkeeper at the Village Tavern. A batch of alcohol takes two beers.

Use the Distillation Cube in the Alchemy Lab and combine 2 Beers and 1 Clay Urn with fire to produce Alcohol. Leave it to finish while you prepare the other ingredients.

Make Preservative and the gold-tier Solution for Zombies

At Laboratory I, mix Fragrance (or another ingredient that yields three green alchemical runes) to create Preservative.

Collect the finished Alcohol from the Distillation Cube and head back to the Writing Basement.

At the Formulation Bench, combine 1 Preservative and 1 Alcohol to craft the Solution for Zombies. With alchemy mastery around level 6–7, the result is a gold-quality solution that adds +3 red skulls to a body.

Embalm the corpse to 8 red skulls

Choose a corpse that has enough red skull potential to reach the target once the solution is applied. A body already carrying five red skulls climbs to eight after a single gold-tier injection.

Place the corpse on Embalming Table I in the Morgue.

Inject the gold-tier Solution for Zombies. Confirm the red skull count reads 8 before you move on, injecting again if the body still falls short.

Resurrect and deliver the zombie to Albert

Carry the embalmed corpse to Resurrection Table I in the Resurrection Lab. Insert the Golden Zombie Collar and add the Reanimation Liquid.

Wait for the resurrection timer to finish, then complete the process. Check the reanimated zombie and confirm it still holds at least eight red skulls.

Take the zombie north to the Plague Doctor’s Lab. Set it on the highlighted operating table beside Albert.

The quest closes as soon as the zombie sits on that table. The journal signs off with the line, “Albert’s sister is a zombie. But he’s working on the problem,” and you gain +10 reputation with Albert.
