Deliciousness Knows No Borders is a short event World Quest set at Yilong Wharf in Chenyu Vale, where the chefs and suppliers of the food street come together to prepare Wangxiao Cakes. It sits in the middle of the Food Street Must Be Saved! chain, tied to the Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon event, and it plays out almost entirely as a single cutscene once you reach the cooking stall.

Where the quest starts and what it asks
In Liyue’s Upper Vale, the Chenyu Vale quest starts at Yilong Wharf. Your only task is to find out how the Wangxiao Cakes are coming along. No fighting, puzzles, or materials collection are required. Go to the food stall, where Shenhe, Qiqi, and Yaoyao are waiting, and speak with them; the ensuing scene takes care of everything else.
It is the second entry in the Food Street Must Be Saved! series, following The Chefs From a Foreign Land. Because it is an event quest, it is available for a limited window while the event runs, and the in-game timer tracks the remaining time directly in the quest menu.

What happens in the cutscene
The whole quest is a cooperative cooking scene. When you arrive, Qiqi and Yaoyao are handing over freshly picked Glaze Lilies to Shenhe. Yaoyao explains that Xiangling sent a letter a couple of days earlier, asking the two of them to gather the lilies from Qingce Village in exchange for cake.
From there the recipe comes together through a chain of deliveries. Escoffier and Xiangling work out the filling, combining Fontaine pastry technique with Liyue baking. Escoffier notes that the baking process is highly specialized, so Xiangling handles that part.
The suppliers arrive in turn. Lu Xiangxiang brings top-grade Chenyu Vale tea leaves, repaying a past kindness from Shenhe at Wanmin Restaurant. Shevirme confirms that spices have been shipped in from Sumeru, and Freda sets up alchemical extraction equipment for the filling ingredients.
The tea extraction and Shenhe’s centrifuge
The one small hurdle in the scene is extracting the tea compounds. Freda manages to draw nectar from the Glaze Lilies, but the raw tea leaves need high-speed centrifugal separation that her setup cannot reach. Escoffier suggests using her centrifuge, which turns too slowly on its own.
Shenhe solves it by hand. She returns with a flask of pure tea extract, explaining that she cranked the centrifuge manually to hit the required speed. As she puts it in the scene, “Yes, it was a bit slow, so I cranked it by hand.” It is a quick beat that leans on her superhuman strength rather than any player input.
The Five-Nut Wangxiao Cake conversation
After Smiley Yanxiao and a second customer give conflicting feedback, Shenhe turns to Xiangling with a question about Five-Nut Wangxiao Cakes. Xiangling says that these days, Five-Nut versions tend to serve as inexpensive decoration in Moonchase gift boxes, not as real pastries. In response, she and Smiley Yanxiao agree to make the traditional cakes, leading into the tasting in the following quest.
Confirming completion and what unlocks next
Once the conversation finishes and Xiangling heads off to practice baking, a Deliciousness Knows No Borders Quest Completed banner appears on screen with the reward list. That banner is the confirmation that the quest is done; there is nothing further to trigger manually.
Completing it immediately opens the next entry in the series, A Taste Beyond Time, which tasks you with taking part in the tasting and then talking to Zibai. That quest is where the finished cake, the Celestial Tea Crisp, is presented to the Guildmaster, and it adds a Celestial Tea Crisp recipe on top of the same Primogem, Festive Cheer, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore payout.
