A fresh batch of changes has landed in Ultimate Tower Defense, and the headline is a wave of tower reworks paired with a new meta modifier that rewards them. The studio laid out the full changelog on Discord, covering unit overhauls, set tweaks, battlepass adjustments and a new code. The single biggest addition is a third meta modifier for reworked towers, which grants the same +500% damage bonus that brand new towers already receive.

New rework meta modifier (+500% damage)

The update introduces a third meta modifier aimed specifically at tower reworks. It grants the same +500% damage bonus that new towers get, and it replaces any active “New” tower meta modifier if one is present. In practice, a tower that has just been reworked now carries the same damage boost as a freshly released one.

HitReworked; now gets the new rework meta modifier

Hit is the one to watch, since it now picks up the new rework modifier and its +500% boost. The studio said a few more changes to Hit may follow later.

Unit rebalances and additions

Three units were rebalanced: Denji (evo), Kenpachi (evo 1) and Yachiru. Kenpachi also gained a passive, and both Kenpachi and Yachiru now have quotes.

Set reworks

Five sets were reworked in this update:

  • Dragon
  • Assassin
  • Executioner
  • Brawler
  • Berserker

Battlepass, trading and progression changes

The battlepass will once again directly hand out shinified units. Fishing quests were removed from the battlepass quest pool, and the exp gain was rebalanced alongside that removal. Toji is now tradeable, and dungeons give more player experience than before. The patch also lists more slight performance improvements.

Redeem the new code

A new code shipped with the update: BattlepassSeason10. It expires in early October 2026, so redeem it soon. Launch the game, open the code entry menu, paste the code exactly, and confirm to claim your rewards.

Between the +500% rework modifier and the overhauls to Highroller, Reaper, Gambler and Hit, this update reshapes several established towers while nudging progression through the dungeon exp boost and the return of shinified units to the battlepass.
