Prismana Melloblum is the limited Nova-stage version of the Grass/Light support Melloblum, and it only shows up during the Vein Abundance rotation set in Rosetower Woods. You summon it by filling a Bloom node with Prismatic Energy, then catch it with a high-tier pod once it spawns. The catch is timing: rushing it midweek can drain your Vein Essence for nothing.

Quick answer: Nurture the Bloom in Rosetower Woods until its Prismatic Energy hits max, then catch the Prismana Melloblum that appears. Wait for Friday–Sunday, when Budsquire mass-spawns and nurturing gets a +50% bonus, so you spend almost no Vein Essence.
Requirements and event window
The Melloblum rotation is the first Vein Abundance event in Version 1.1, and it is tied to one region only. Wandering other zones will not trigger the boosted spawn. You also need the right account title before the event panel becomes usable.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Form | Prismana Melloblum (No. S1B) |
| Region | Rosetower Woods, Breezy Plains |
| Requirement | Student II |
| Window (EU) | Sept 28 04:00 UTC – Oct 5 03:59 UTC |
| Recommended level | 49–51 |
If Melloblum is not appearing, confirm you hold the Student II title, that your server clock is inside the window, and that you are searching in Rosetower Woods. The event runs for one week before it rotates to Waleetle in Berylline Vale.

Open the Breezy Plains map and locate Rosetower Woods, which sits at roughly 0320, 0918. The Bloom node is positioned along a cliff edge behind the Maze of Thorns. Teleporting to the area and riding a flying mount to the node is the fastest way in.

Nurture the Bloom to summon Prismana Melloblum
Prismana Melloblum arrives when the Bloom’s Prismatic Energy reaches its maximum threshold. You raise that energy through nurturing, which uses a daily free chance plus Vein Essence for extra attempts.

Where to get Vein Essence
Vein Essence is the currency that fuels extra nurture attempts. It comes from several activities, so you rarely have to lean on a single one.

- Season 1 Stamp Shop
- Elite Training
- Catch Completion
- Nurture Branch
- Holo-Battle Interlink
In the Stamp Shop, Vein Essence costs 50 Stamps each with a weekly cap of 10 purchases. When it is bought out, the entry reads as sold out until the weekly reset.

Should you wait for the weekend?
Yes. Vein Essence is limited, and burning it on weekday nurture attempts is the least efficient way to summon Prismana Melloblum. The weekend changes the math entirely.
From Friday through Sunday, Budsquire spawns in mass around the Bloom, and nurturing gains a +50% Prismatic Energy bonus with 3 attempts available. Capturing the Budsquire crowd with pods triggers Lucky Strikes, which feed Prismatic Energy into the Bloom for free. Between the capture route and the nurture bonus, you can push the energy to max without draining your essence stock.
Hold your Vein Essence during the week. Let the free daily chance tick over, then do the heavy lifting on the weekend when the Budsquire spawns and the bonus are both active.
How to capture Prismana Melloblum once it appears
When the Prismatic Energy state maxes out, look to the sky for a wide pink beam. That beam marks the exact spot where Prismana Melloblum has spawned. Head straight to it.
Throw a high-level pod to secure the catch. An Ultra pod works well, and a Sparkling pod gives better odds if you have one. You know it worked when Prismana Melloblum is added to your collection and its index entry unlocks, which also grants +100 Research Points.
Nurturing is not the only path. You can also obtain a Prismana by landing Lucky or Super Lucky hits while throwing pods at wild Aniimo, though that method is slow and unreliable compared with maxing the Bloom.
What Prismana Melloblum brings to a team
Prismana Melloblum is a Grass/Light support built around Grass critical damage, and it shines only when paired with a Grass crit DPS such as Thornblade. Its value is fast setup and strong crit amplification, letting your main damage dealer stay on the field longer.

| Ability | Effect |
|---|---|
| Allies close enough receive +70% Grass Crit Damage for 30s | |
| Grass crit hits spawn thorns under the target for extra damage | |
| Heals allies for 5% of Melloblum’s HP after the target takes 3 crits | |
| Phantom Opening (Trait) | Basic attacks stack Rose Mark (max 10); each stack cuts EP cost by 3 |
Open with Rose Garden and Thorny Blessing before swapping to your DPS so both effects are live. Save Healing Rose for teams that reliably land crits, since its healing only fires after three critical hits. With a Grass crit partner in the lineup, this limited form pulls its weight as both a damage amplifier and a light source of sustain, which is exactly why it is worth grabbing before the rotation moves on.
