Version 1.4 of Neverness to Everness, titled “For Whom the Verses Mourn,” is now live across all platforms after the September 30 maintenance. The headline additions are two limited S-Class characters, a full theme-park location called Pukaland, and the second phase of the Porsche collaboration. Content is split across two phases, with the second wave arriving on October 21.
Quick answer: Update your client, then complete the “Prologue – A New Destination – Head to Eibon Antique Shop” quest to unlock the Blackbird board and returning Lacrimosa rerun. Phase 2 adds Akane Rin on October 21.
Maintenance, compensation, and how to update
Maintenance ran from 06:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8) on September 30, 2026, during which login was unavailable. Anyone who created a character before 06:00 (UTC+8) on that date receives Annulith x300 as maintenance compensation, plus another Annulith x300 as bug-fix compensation. Both are sent through in-game mail, so claim them before they expire.
The way you download the update depends on your platform. On PC, close the game and click Update in the launcher; on Steam, restart the client and update from your Library; on Epic, reopen the launcher and click Update. Android players follow the in-game prompt, while iOS and Mac users update through the App Store. On PlayStation, open the system menu, select NTE, press OPTIONS, and choose Check for Update.
A Pukaland Fest gift pack lands in your mail in two parts. After the September 30 update you can claim Solid Dice x10 and the “Like Clockwork” avatar frame, and after the October 21 update you receive Akane’s “House Special” outfit plus Fons x2,000,000.
New characters, boards, and Arcs
Two new S-Class characters headline the version. Blackbird, a Psyche main DPS, leads the first phase, with Akane Rin arriving in phase 2. Every board and Arc program below requires you to finish the “Prologue – A New Destination – Head to Eibon Antique Shop” main story quest first.

The Foretold Finale board runs alongside the Divination Perks event, which hands out “The Harbinger” glider livery, the “Nightplume” Yesteryear bike livery, and Blackbird’s “Rouge et Noir” outfit. You can claim these directly once you hit 50, 120, or 200 cumulative rolls, or pull them randomly before those milestones. The Lacrimosa rerun works the same way through the Daydream Perks page, offering the “Tomato Duo” glider, the “Tomato Cruise” Regalia Pendragon livery, and her “Gilded Rhapsody” outfit.
The two limited S-Class Arcs, “Crime and Punishment” and the returning “The Last Rose,” are only obtainable through their respective Arc Research Programs, which you enter with Tri-Keys or the matching special keys under Arc Shop › Arc Research Program.
Daydream Perks progress comes only from rolls made on the Fading Reverie board. Progress is recorded board by board, but carries forward across boards bearing an identical name.
Pukaland and St. Arbor locations
The game adds Pukaland, a theme-park district filled with rides, fair stalls, and chance encounters. At the Puka Exchange Shop, Appraisers can trade Puka Stars for the “Pukaland Gold Pass”; owning it permanently cuts the price of every Pukaland attraction by 90%.
The update also introduces St. Arbor, a second location featured in the new story content. This town sits at the mountain’s base and was once a peaceful place where residents lived and worked quietly.
New story content
The main story continues with a new episode, “The Witch,” centered on a mysterious letter, a sinister ritual, and a town shrouded in secrets. It unlocks after you complete the earlier “Fogden Game” episode.
Two character-focused stories tie into Blackbird. A new City Hangouts story and a new Home Time Invitation mode both feature her, and both require you to obtain Blackbird and reach the required Bond Level before they open.
NTE × Porsche collab part 2
The Porsche collaboration’s second phase brings two Mystery Box events, each available from September 30 (after update) through November 11, 05:59 (UTC+8). There are 15 boxes in each event. The first opening costs Fons x50,000 or Annulith x50, with subsequent boxes becoming more expensive. Open the complete set of 15 to obtain every reward in the pool.
“Born to Race” Mystery Box
This new box features the brand-new collab vehicles “Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package” and “Porsche 911 Turbo (930),” along with Fabricated Dice, A Handwritten Letter, Fons, the limited avatar frame “Redline Rush,” and the exclusive namecard “Roar Recharged.”
“Everdriving” Mystery Box returns
The returning box features the “Porsche 918 Spyder,” Esper Zero’s limited collab outfit “Perfect Partners,” Fabricated Dice x10, A Handwritten Letter x3, Fons x500,000, the limited avatar frame “Heartbeat Moment,” and the namecard “Trackside Shadow.” Your previous Everdriving progress carries over, so you resume from where you stopped.
Vehicles obtained from Collab Mystery Boxes do not include a signature nameplate.
Porsche Club perks
Any collab vehicle you own grants its corresponding Club Perks. With the 918 Spyder, you get “Power Boost,” a modification for Porsche collab vehicles; the 911 Turbo (930) grants “Salzburg,” a classic livery. The Taycan Turbo GT unlocks five items: the “Badge of Honor” furniture, “Horizon Spectre” namecard, “No Substitute” phone case, “Relentless Drive” phone wallpaper, and “Porsche Club” title.

Spend Character Pixels at Houdinii’s Magic Stage, Houdinii’s Schemes, Bubble Can Factory, or Rabbit Hole during Pixel Surge to receive double rewards. The daily double-reward limit is 120 Character Pixels; any unused allowance rolls over, up to the event-wide maximum of 840 Character Pixels.
Puka Membership Program and Circle Bounty
City Tycoon gains the “Puka Membership Program.” Completing its quest series and raising your Sweetdream Level unlocks Puka Boot Camp, Drone Follow-Cam, three character outfits, an S-Class Standard Character Selection Box, a “Puka Membership” S-Class Arc Selection Box, the “Moonless Night” and “Grand Prize” accessories, plus frames, namecards, titles, and dice skins including “Doooonut” and “Puka-Pukaboo.”
The Arc Selection Box lets you pick one of these Arcs: Reality Refuge, Youthful Fantasy, Good Boy’s Grand Adventure, Camellia Society, Raging Flames, Blow up the Crowd, Tears Beneath the Mask, Eternal Waltz, or Song of the Whale.
The Version 1.4 “Circle Bounty” runs from September 30 (after update) until November 10, 23:59 (UTC+8) and requires the “Relax Time” main quest. Completing Circle Quests raises your Circle Bounty Rank for Fabricated Dice, Gold Carrota, De-noise Solution, and more. Paid Elite and Honor Hunter Supplies add extra rewards, including Annulith, Fons, and the “Pukaboo” avatar. Opening an Arc-light Trove II lets you choose one Fluff (Fearlessness, Fleetness, Finesse, Ferocity, or Fortitude) or Fons x2,000,000.
Anomaly Commissions and web event
Three new Anomaly Commissions open on September 30: “Night of the Last Bus,” “Lilliput in the Looking Glass,” and “Perfectly Ordinary Dreams.” A fourth, “No Rest for the Cookies,” arrives after the October 21 update. Separately, the “Blackbird’s Invitation” web event runs from September 30, 11:00 until November 11, 05:59 (UTC+8), where you share an invite link to bring in new and returning Appraisers and complete quests for Annulith and Divination Attempts. You can also enter its redeem code in-game for a limited avatar frame.
Outfits and accessories
Blackbird gets three outfits with different unlock paths. Akane Rin, Sakiri, Baicang, and Haniel also receive new looks, and a batch of accessories arrives across the shop, City Tycoon, and Pukaland.

The “Wandering Stars” outfit is a permanent shop item, but its introductory discount price of Riftcrystal x2,680 (down from x3,280) only runs from October 7, 06:30 until November 11, 05:59 (UTC+8).
In Mall › Fashion Shop, each of the accessories “Tomorrow’s Star,” “Position Zero,” and “Neon Nights” is priced at Fons x1,600,000. Get “Moonless Night” and “Grand Prize” through the Puka Membership Program, redeem “Big Brains” at Pukaland’s Star Ticket Counter, and earn “Knockingbird” by completing a specific achievement.
System changes, optimizations, and bug fixes
The version adds a new Accessories cosmetic system and several quality-of-life systems. Notable additions include:
- Multiplayer added to “Volley Star” and a follow-cam mode for Photo Mode’s Drone Mode.
- New collectibles in “Going, Going, Gone!” plus Blackbird as an Auction Assistant.
- “Sweetdream Charity Drive” added to City Tycoon, with faster Fons accumulation in the original program.
- Hunter Supplies level cap raised to Lvl 80, with boosted rewards beyond Lvl 50.
- A “Bulk Gift” button added to the Bond interface, plus new Bond quests and interactions for Blackbird.
- “First Meeting Replay” added to the Character interface, toggled under Settings › Control.
- Friend recommendations added to the Friends interface, and Figurines can now be placed anywhere on your Property.
On the fix side, the patch resolves multiple Linko issues, including a failed “Morning Spell” Awakening effect with Redirect Skills, an incorrect Ultimate cooldown display when switching to Zankou, a lost target on “Basic Attack: Spectral Rush,” wrong Synced Strike damage, and model clipping during the Hug interaction. It also restores missing sound effects for Iroi’s jump and landing roll, fixes missing Awakening Lvl 6 visual effects on some outfits, corrects the uncompletable “Pinky Promise” achievement, and addresses crashes along with localization improvements.
Once you’ve updated the client and finished the prologue quest, all phase 1 content is ready to play. The second update on October 21 adds Akane Rin, the “No Rest for the Cookies” commission, and the remaining half of the Pukaland Fest gift pack.
