Minecraft Dungeons 2: Every Minecart Station Location (Fast Travel Points)

All 27 stations across the Overworld and The Sift, plus how to activate each one for the Track Record achievement.

All 27 stations across the Overworld and The Sift, plus how to activate each one for the Track Record achievement.

Minecart stations are the fast travel points in Minecraft Dungeons 2. Once a station is active, you can jump to any other station you have already switched on, which turns the open world into a quick-travel network instead of a long walk. Activating every one of them unlocks the Track Record trophy and achievement.

Quick answer: There are 27 minecart stations total — 18 in the Overworld and 9 in The Sift. Walk close to each one to light it up. None are missable, so you can collect any you skipped in free-roam after the story.

How to activate a minecart station

A station stays inactive until you approach it. Simply walking close enough makes it light up and adds it to your travel list. Interacting with any active station opens a menu of every station you have found, and you pick one to travel there instantly.

Fast travel unlocks early. The first station comes online after you finish the opening prologue mission, which also sets your respawn point. If you die, you return to that first station and can travel back toward your objective from there.

Most stations sit directly on the main quest route, so you will pass them naturally. A few sit off the path, so stop and tag each one as you cross a region rather than backtracking later through hostile ground.

All 18 Overworld minecart stations

The Overworld holds 18 stations spread across five regions. Squid Coast has none, so you do not need to search it.

Two Howling Woods and Frozen Highlands stops need a little extra work. Deep Dark Entrance is reached by entering the Deep Dark cave near Haven Station and following the long path through the sculk ruins to the far outdoor exit. Archie’s Ruins only opens after you complete the Illager Intelligence side quest, which you accept from The Librarian in Frozen Fortress and finish by defeating the Sculk Monstrosity.

Ice Caves also sits off the beaten track. It is in the southern frozen section, and you reach it by hopping across floating ice floes to the portal on a stone platform.

All 9 Sift minecart stations

The Sift is a second dimension reached through the Deep Dark portal. It carries 9 more stations across three regions, and these count toward the same achievement.

Stations in The Sift connect to the Overworld network once active, so a single station there can take you back to Haven Station or any other hub you have found.

Unlocking the Track Record achievement

Track Record requires you to personally activate all 27 minecart stations. It is tracked internally as DISCOVER_ALL_MINECART_STATIONS, and it only counts stations you have walked close to yourself. Travelling to a station someone else activated in co-op does not fill the requirement for you.

Because each station lights up the moment you reach it, the trophy effectively doubles as a full map-exploration checklist. Once the final station switches on, the achievement pops. If it has not unlocked, open the travel menu and compare your active stations against the two tables above to spot the one you missed.

Tag every station you pass, even mid-fight. A station takes seconds to trigger, and skipping one means a long backtrack through enemies later just to clean up the achievement.
