The Spiritmaster in Aion 2 plays as a ranged magical damage dealer with a control streak, summoning elemental spirits that attack on their own and even pull threat off you in a pinch. Leveling is forgiving because the spirits tank and fight for you, but the class only shows its full damage once you reach level 45 and start committing skill points. Everything you do at that point revolves around one payoff attack: Elemental Fusion.

Quick answer: Keep your four elemental summons on one skill line, fire Elemental Fusion each time the four-element state fills, and bind a macro to chain your buffs, Cold Shock, Earth Spirit, and Fusion in a single press.

How Elemental Fusion drives the Spiritmaster

Elemental Fusion is your strongest attack, and it only becomes usable once your spirits have landed their special attacks four times to build the four-element state. Because of that, Fusion sits on a button by itself, and your summons sit together on a separate line so you can fire them back-to-back. Each spirit special feeds a stack toward the next Fusion.

The stigma spirit, Summon: Ancient Spirit, changes the loop entirely. When it comes out, it uses its special attack immediately, which hands you a Fusion right away. After that it repeats every 7 attacks. Push Ancient Spirit to 15 ranks and that requirement drops to 5 attacks, letting you throw Elemental Fusion far more often. At that point you can drop the Wind Spirit from your summon line and slot the Ancient Spirit in its place.

Setting up the combat macro

A single macro does most of the opening work: it runs your blessings, restores some mana, cycles your summon line, and finishes with Elemental Fusion for a large burst. Build the macro with these entries in order.

  • Enhance: Spirit’s Benediction
  • Flame Blessing
  • Cold Shock
  • Summon: Earth Spirit x2
  • Elemental Fusion
Open the macro editor on your Skill screen and add the entries above in sequence. Leave the delay between each line at 10 ms if your connection is stable. On high ping, raise it to around 40 so every skill registers.
Go into Settings, then Key Settings, and bind the macro to a key you can hit without thinking, such as RMB or the – key.
Press the Macro button on the Skill screen to activate it. You know it is working when one press walks you through the buffs, tops up your mana, runs the summons, and ends on Fusion automatically.

Jointstrike: Destructive Attack cannot go inside the macro and has to stay on its own button. If you run the macro, change the Elemental Fusion entry in your main combat line to an AOE skill with its own specialties so you are not doubling up.

Skill bar layout and rotation

Split your bars into clear lines so the rotation flows without hunting for buttons. Keep all four summons grouped, Fusion alone, your stigmas paired off, and your core attacks together.

Elemental line

  • Earth Spirit
  • Wind Spirit (removed once Ancient Spirit replaces it)
  • Fire Spirit
  • Water Spirit

Stigma lines

  • Flame Blessing and Enhance: Spirit’s Benediction
  • Summon: Ancient Spirit and Jointstrike: Corrode

Combat line

  • Elemental Fusion (swap to an AOE skill if the macro already handles Fusion)
  • Dimensional Control
  • Jointstrike: Curse
  • Combustion

Open with your Ancient Spirit and stigma lines, then move to the normal elemental line, firing Elemental Fusion whenever the four-element state is up. Fold in your other main lines and the macro from there. Dialing in the exact order takes practice, but the loop settles into muscle memory quickly.

Active skill ranks and specialties

At level 45 you are free to spend points where it counts. To reach the high ranks (12 to 14) you top up purchased ranks with Arcana and the Daevanion Board, so a skill listed as 10+2 means ten bought ranks plus two from those outside sources. The table below lists the ranks and the specialty to pick for each.

SkillRanksSpecialty
Cold Shock10+2+20% MP Restored, +2% Attack on Earth Tremor
Combustion10+2-20% MP cost, up to 12% more damage on fewer targets
Summon: Fire Spirit8+210% recast on Fire Spirit hit
Summon: Water Spirit8+210% recast on Water Spirit hit
Summon: Earth Spirit8+210% recast on Earth Spirit hit
Summon: Wind Spirit8+210% recast on Wind Spirit hit
Jointstrike: Curse10+2+2 Curse duration, -2s cooldown
Dimensional Control10+2Extra damage after 3s, +50% Multi-Hit
Elemental Fusion10+4Extra damage after 3s
Defiance8Restores 20% HP on use
Soul’s Cry3None
Rapid Scattershot10Absorbs 5% HP (World Boss content only)

Later in gearing you may want to swap Combustion’s first specialty to +20% Skill Speed. Wind Spirit becomes less useful as you grow stronger, and you can retire it once you can comfortably trigger Elemental Fusion after your first three elementals. Rapid Scattershot is a low priority you can skip entirely outside World Boss fights.

Passive skill priority

PassiveRanks
Spirit Strike10+4
Consecutive Countercurrent10+2
Spirit’s Descent10
Spirit Revitalization10
Spirit Protection10+1
Spirit Communication9+1
Mental Focus1+3 (PVP only)
Revitalization Contract1+1 (PVP only)
Corrode1
Elemental Unification2

Spirit Strike is the single most important passive and deserves full investment first. Corrode and Elemental Unification stay low until you pick up strong Yellow gear, since they do very little before that point.

Stigma setup

  • Summon: Ancient Spirit — 5 ranks now, with 15 as the top priority goal
  • Flame Blessing — 7 ranks
  • Enhance: Spirit’s Benediction — 5 ranks
  • Jointstrike: Corrode — 5 ranks

Ancient Spirit is the stigma that reshapes your rotation, so pour ranks into it ahead of everything else. The jump to 15 ranks, which cuts the Fusion interval to 5 attacks, is the biggest single power spike the class gets.

Daevanion board nodes

The Daevanion Board supplies the extra skill ranks noted above alongside raw stat gains. Focus your early routing on these nodes.

BoardPriority nodes
NezekanCombat Speed +2.5% (top left and bottom left); +1 ranks to skills like Jointstrike: Curse and Combustion along those paths
ZikelDamage Boost +5% (top right and bottom right); +1 ranks to the skills along those lines
Vaizel+1 ranks to skills near the center; the Critical node here only pays off with strong Yellow gear

Gear stats to prioritize

This is a glass cannon setup built to delete targets before they reach you, so offense comes well ahead of defense.

  • Accuracy — keeps your spirits from whiffing their important attacks
  • Attack Boost — the damage that pairs with reliable hits
  • Cooldown Reduction — more frequent ability casts
  • Critical Hit Rate — worth chasing once your gear is strong
  • Armor / Health — the lowest priority, since the plan is to kill first

Put the pieces together and the Spiritmaster becomes a high-ceiling caster that leans on tight timing rather than button mashing. Get Ancient Spirit to 15 ranks, keep your summon line feeding the four-element state, and let the macro handle the opener while you weave Combustion, Dimensional Control, and Jointstrike: Curse between each Elemental Fusion.
