In Aniimo, the Journey chapter called Tideblossom Coast Notes revolves around one quest: Is That a… Lighthouse?. Set on Tideblossom Coast in the Breezy Plains region, it can progress only at night. The tale follows a solitary Bulbly by a cliff, a researcher’s missing notes, and a sailor’s account that leads the creature to evolve.
Quick answer: Switch to night, catch the Alpha Luminelle for the Research Notes, talk to the Bulbly at the cliff, collect six Treasures of the Sea volumes, then tell it a story about the sea.
Requirements before you start
Two things gate this chapter. First, the day/night switch has to be unlocked, which happens by advancing the main story until you stay the night at the elder’s house in chapter 3. Second, the whole quest runs after dark, so set the in-game clock to night before you head out.
Tideblossom Coast sits at a level range of roughly 53 to 60, so bring a team that can handle creatures in that band. To open the chapter, go to Tideblossom Coast and begin any quest in the region.

The quest begins only after you catch the Alpha Luminelle. It appears at night in the watery circle area on the south island of Tideblossom Coast. After switching to night, expect a short wait at the spawn point before the Alpha descends from the sky as a star.

Find all six Treasures of the Sea and Where to Find Them volumes
After the cliff conversation, you need to collect six volumes of Treasures of the Sea and Where to Find Them scattered across the coast. Each one is marked on the map once the task is active. The first volume sits behind a vine blockage, so bring a creature that can burn it away.
| Volume | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| I | Inside a cave on the southern part of the coast; burn the vines blocking the chest |
| II | Top of a peak, just south of the Luminelle fight |
| III | Shore at the left-center portion of the coast |
| IV | Small island a bit north of the island where you fought Luminelle |
| V | Eastern island of Tideblossom Coast |
| VI | Shore a bit north of where you fought Luminelle |
BINI reassembles the book and confirms when all six pages are in hand, so wait for that prompt before returning to the cliff.
Tell the Bulbly a story and get Veilfloat
With the book complete, go back to the Bulbly by the cliff and share a tale of the sea. It tells of Hayes, an adventurer who escaped thick fog thanks to a jellyfish’s glow, which he named his lighthouse. When Bulbly grasps the signal it has been repeating, it evolves into a Veilfloat, completing the quest.

You then choose to say goodbye and leave it shining at the cliff, or invite it along. Either way, the Veilfloat joins you once the Journey quest closes out. Veilfloat is an Electric-type Support creature that only appears at night on Tideblossom Coast, so this is a reliable way to add it to your collection.

You know the quest is complete when the Veilfloat is added to your team and the Journey chapter updates. Finishing the quest also pushes the chapter toward 100%, which hands over the chapter completion reward.
