Consumables in AION 2 are one-time-use items that apply an instant effect or a timed buff when you activate them. They cover health and mana recovery, combat buffs, damage shards, short transformations, and gear or travel utilities. Most are Common rarity and easy to stockpile, while transformations and a few special items sit higher up the grade scale.

Quick answer: Open your inventory and click a consumable to use it instantly, or drag it into the Consumables Quickslot for one-button access and auto-use.

How to use consumables in AION 2

Open your inventory and click the consumable you want. It activates immediately, applying its instant effect or starting its buff timer.
For items you use often, drag them from your inventory into the Consumables Quickslot. This gives you a dedicated button so you do not have to open the inventory mid-fight.
For potions and similar items, set up Auto-Use. Select the Quickslot and set the condition for when it triggers, so the item fires automatically once that threshold is met.

Auto-Use only works for items placed in the Consumables Quickslot, so move your main healing item there first.
