Odyle is a crafting material used to imbue gear with its power, and it feeds most Blacksmithing, Armorsmithing, and Handicraft recipes as well as Substance Morph. What makes it awkward to collect is that its nodes do not sit on the ground. They float in the air, so you need your Wings to reach them and run Essence Extraction mid-flight.
Quick answer: Gather Odyle from floating nodes with your Wings and Essence Extraction. Verteron (706 spots) and Altgard (650 spots) hold by far the most nodes, and each extraction returns one of four Odyle grades.
The four Odyle grades and what they sell for
A single Odyle node can yield any of four materials, separated by grade. All four are Tier 1 Misc materials, can be traded, and serve the same purpose in Crafting and Substance Morph. The higher the grade, the higher the required level to use it and the more it sells for.

Every Odyle node is a Novice grade node and only needs Proficiency Level 1 to gather, so you can work them from the moment you can fly. Each extraction gives one material plus a chance at a Poko’s Skin Bundle (Bound) as a bonus.
Where Odyle nodes spawn, by region
Odyle nodes appear across the open world and inside several dungeons. The two starting regions carry the heaviest concentration, which makes them the fastest places to run laps. The dungeon instances each hold a small fixed pocket of nodes if you want a few extractions while clearing them.

Within a region, nodes cluster in the air above key points. In Verteron, dense pockets sit around Ellun River Midstream, Dawn Legion Base, Aullaeu Village, and Kraka Footpath. In Altgard, look above Nameless Cemetery, Sanctum Outpost, Fafnite Deposit, and Black Claw Village. The simplest rule is to fly near any camp, town, or point of interest and look up.

Extraction skills that raise your Odyle yield
Open the Extraction Skill Tree (Alt + F on PC) and invest in the Odyle specialization perks before you commit to a farming run. They make nodes easier to find and push both the quantity and the grade of what you pull.
- Odyle Seeker — reveals Odyle locations on your map.
- Plentiful Harvest — lets you harvest larger quantities of Odyle.
- Odyle Appraiser — improves your odds of uncovering Odyle of a higher grade.
Beyond those, max out Proficient Handling, Delicate Touch, and Lady Luck. Each raises your success rate per attempt, so fewer extractions fail and you spend less Wing Energy per material.
Hidden Cubes that drop Odyle bundles
Gathering is the steady source, but Hidden Cubes give you a shot at multiple grades at once, including the Unique tier. Many of these cubes also sit on high ledges that only flight can reach.
The bundle can roll Unique gathered materials, so saving a Key: Hidden Cube (Bound) for these cubes is the surest non-gathering route to Radiant Odyle.
