In AION 2, Chaotic Lower Reshanta is a contested Abyss zone shared by both factions, where players hunt a roster of level-65 field bosses for high-tier gear. This area opens the endgame Abyss progression and requires a qualifying Character Level, Item Level, and Combat Power. Its rewards include rotating Unique armor sets associated with specific bosses, while each boss kill also yields refining materials.

Quick answer: You can enter Chaotic Lower Reshanta at Character Level 45 with Item Level 1,000 and Combat Power 500.0k. All eight of its field bosses are level 65.

Entry requirements for Chaotic Lower Reshanta

The Abyss opens to every character at level 45. Chaotic Lower Reshanta then checks three values before it lets you in.

  • Character Level: 45
  • Item Level: 1,000
  • Combat Power: 500.0k

Your time in the zone is metered. Basic Usage Time runs to a maximum of seven hours per cycle and resets on a weekly timer, while Passage Usage Time stretches up to 28 hours. The counter for both shows on the minimap once you arrive.

How to travel to Chaotic Lower Reshanta

Open the main menu from the HUD and select the Abyss tab. The zone list shows Chaotic Upper, Chaotic Lower and Chaotic Middle Reshanta alongside the Chaotic Rift Zone.
Pick Chaotic Lower Reshanta from the list, check the entry requirements on the right, then press the Enter button.
Confirm the prompt that reads “Move to Latesran Western Root?” to load into the zone. Latesran Western Root is the western faction hub and your bind point inside the Abyss.

You land in the plaza at Latesran Western Root, where Command Merchants and a Kibelisk bind point sit. Each faction has its own settlement and Kibelisk at opposite corners of the map, with no extra Kibelisks to unlock in the field.

From the hub, head toward the large rift portal at the edge of the platform to move out into the floating islands where the bosses spawn. Contested Abyss Corridors act as extra fast-travel points, but only the faction that captures them during an Artifact Siege can use them until the next siege begins.

Field bosses and where they spawn

Eight field boss spawns sit across the region, all at level 65 and all ranked Hero. Guardian Lord Nahma appears at three separate spots, and the Executor bosses share loot tables with their namesakes, so there are five distinct drop pools to chase.

Guardian Lord Nahma is the one aggressive boss on the list and the one on a fixed timer, spawning on Sunday and Friday at 21:00 server time. A Dimensional Core also sits in the region at Reshanta’s Root, Branding Island and the Grave of Steel, but it carries no loot of its own.

Boss drops and drop rates

Each named boss carries its own armor set as Unique drops, with Epic and Rare gear and crafting materials filling out the pool. Chances below are per kill. Where several pieces share a rate, they are grouped in one row.

Argo, the Spirit King (and Executor Argo)

What is worth farming here

The Argo set gives the highest-defense armor piece out of this zone. Argo Gloves carry a Defense of 345, the fifth-highest value among 147 Gloves items, trailing only the Splendent Ebony and Splendent Wise Dragon Lord Gloves at 504. They also come with four manastone slots and a max enchant of 15.

The Kaira armor is close behind. Kaira Gloves and Kaira Boots both sit at Defense 274, the seventh-highest value in their respective slots. The Fallen Ancient God pieces land a step lower, with the Gloves and Boots at Defense 225 (tenth-highest in slot) and the Breastplate at Defense 337, the ninth-highest among 147 Top items behind the Dragon Lord breastplates at 756.

For materials rather than gear, Guardian Lord Nahma is the efficient target. It is the only boss that drops all three refining stones every kill, so it is a steady source of Artisan’s Refining Stone for crafting. Watcher Kaira and Executor Kaira are the pick for Balaur’s Essence at 43.4 percent if you are working toward Draconic gear.

Because the Executor bosses mirror the loot of Argo and Watcher Kaira exactly, you can chase the same armor set from whichever of the paired spawns is uncontested at the time.
