Traits are rolled modifiers you attach to a weapon in Anime Zero to push its combat numbers higher. Each one adds a fixed bonus to stats like Damage, Attack Speed, Cooldown Reduction, Crit Chance, Max Health, or farming rewards, and you can swap the trait on whatever weapon you have equipped by rerolling it. There are 18 traits in total, spread across a rarity ladder from common fillers up to the two 0.01% chase picks.
Quick answer: Reroll traits at the Enchants station in the hub, spending one Enchant Crystal per roll. Deadeye and Supernova are the top damage traits; Fortune is the pick for farming.

How to reroll traits in Anime Zero
Head to the Enchants station in the central hub (the panel labelled “Roll traits”) and open the Trait Reroll window. Each reroll consumes one Enchant Crystal and only touches the weapon you currently have equipped, so your off-weapon in the second slot is left untouched while you experiment. There is no full auto-reroll, so you spin manually and read the result each time.
The pity counter applies to two traits: Ferocity is guaranteed at 250 rolls, and Supernova at 1,000. The game shows a warning before a Mythic-or-better weapon is replaced or a Legendary or Exotic trait is overwritten, helping prevent you from losing a good roll by mistake.
You know it worked when the weapon’s trait slot updates from “No Trait” (or its previous trait) to the new trait name and its stat lines in the panel. If a reroll fails, the game reports a line telling you why, so check that message before spinning again.
Only reroll the weapon you actually plan to keep and evolve. Burning crystals on a kit you intend to replace this week wastes a scarce resource.

Here is the complete trait index with each roll chance and the exact bonuses it grants. The three numbered families (Power, Swift, Focus) scale up a single stat, while the rarer traits stack several stats at once.

| Swift 2 | 8.42% | +9% Attack Speed, +1 Walk Speed |
| Focus 2 | 8.42% | +7% Cooldown Reduction |

| Deadeye | 0.01% | +20% Damage, +5% Crit Chance, +50% Crit Damage |

Best traits for damage
Deadeye is the strongest pure damage trait. Its +50% Crit Damage stacked on top of +20% Damage and +5% Crit Chance makes it the top choice for longer fights, where crits have time to add up and carry a boss kill.
Supernova is the better all-round combat trait. The combination of +24% Damage, +12% Cooldown Reduction, +20% Attack Speed, and +3 Walk Speed clears levels quickly, which makes it ideal when you are racing through stages rather than grinding a long timer.
Ferocity is the next step down and still excellent, bundling Damage, Cooldown Reduction, Attack Speed, and Walk Speed into one roll. Below that, Sniper and Hunter are strong without needing a top-rarity pull, and the crit-focused Razor Focus and Overkill pair well on a weapon that already has high crit uptime.

Best trait for farming
Fortune is the trait to run when your goal is resources rather than clear speed. It raises three reward stats at once with +25% Coins, +20% XP, and +20% Drop Rate, so it pays off while you are stocking materials for evolutions or crafting accessories. At a 12.63% chance it is also one of the easier useful traits to land.
The numbered traits (Power, Swift, Focus) and Vitality are fine while you learn a kit, but they each move only one stat. Replace them with Hunter or better once you have rerolls to spare.

How to stock Trait Rerolls
Rerolls come from a few sources. Codes hand out the largest stacks, and quest, achievement, and milestone rewards top you up over time. You can also pick them up from Nightmare Story stages on any act.
Redeem codes in-game by launching Anime Zero on Roblox, opening the Codes menu, typing a working code, and hitting Redeem. Several October 2026 codes grant large reroll stacks, including 1MVISITS and PATCHNOTE67, while smaller codes like PATCH2 add a few at a time. Some codes also require a minimum level before they will redeem, so check the requirement if one is rejected.
The current build does not let you farm rerolls without limit. AFK chamber rewards stopped including them on October 2. Redeem new codes as soon as they go live to claim the reward.
