Crack the Egg
Crack the Egg Events Schedule: Mystery Update Recap and What’s Next
Crack the Egg is a co-op mining experience on Roblox in which a full lobby has 24 hours to crack open a giant egg before it hatches, chipping away at the shell together to find whatever is hidden inside. This page breaks down the game’s recent in-game events and content drops — what ran, the exact windows, and what the developer, egg shell games, lines up next.
Right now a few hundred players are digging away at any given time (about 450), and the experience has logged about 5,100,000 total visits alongside about 33,000 favorites. No event is live at the moment, but egg shell games pushed two content updates in quick succession earlier in October, so the schedule has been busy. Last updated October 22.

Nothing new is on the calendar yet, but the two October updates that just wrapped are broken down below.
Recent events and what’s next
Mystery Update
The most recent drop, labelled Mystery Update, ran on October 12–13, 2026. egg shell games framed it as a round of feedback fixes paired with fresh content, and it opened at 8:56 PM ET on October 12 (5:56 PM PT) before wrapping the following afternoon at 2:56 PM ET on October 13 (11:56 AM PT) — a short window of roughly 18 hours. More than 1,500 players marked themselves interested, the strongest turnout of any Crack the Egg event so far.
Class Cosmetics
Just before that came Class Cosmetics, which ran October 4–10, 2026 — a longer stretch of about six days that opened at 2:42 PM ET on October 4 (11:42 AM PT) and closed at 12:30 PM ET on October 10 (9:30 AM PT). The update centered on reimagined classes together with a batch of quality-of-life changes and balancing tweaks. Close to 700 players signed on as interested, a solid showing but a fraction of what Mystery Update would pull a few days later.
What’s next
The two updates landed only days apart — Class Cosmetics closed on October 10 and Mystery Update followed on October 13 — which points to a developer shipping content in quick bursts rather than on a fixed weekly beat. egg shell games has not announced another event yet. Given the pace of the October drops a new update could come soon, but nothing is confirmed. We update this page as the schedule changes.
