P.T. hides a damaged portrait of Lisa on the hallway wall near the digital clock, and six missing picture fragments scattered through the house complete it. Five sit inside the looping corridor and one is tucked away in the game’s own settings. With the fan-made PC port now available alongside the original PlayStation 4 teaser, the collectible is open to a new wave of players.
Quick answer: Walk through the exit door twice first, then aim at each of the six fragments and hold R3 to zoom in until a message confirms the piece is collected.

When the fragments become available
The fragments are unavailable at first. Go through the hallway’s exit door twice; all of them become collectible starting with the next loop.
There is no single-loop requirement. You can pick up the pieces in any order and spread them across multiple loops, so a scare from Lisa or a restart will not undo your progress.
These are not picked up with the standard interaction button. Hold R3 and keep the fragment centered in view until the short message displays. A quick tap will not register the piece.

Each fragment carries a short line of text in a different language. The five in the hallway cluster around the digital clock, the teddy bear, the pillar near the bathroom, and the exit stairs. The sixth is not in the corridor at all.
| # | Location | Message (translated) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | In the plant pot beside the digital clock | I murmured your name, yet the night wind carried your voice away |
| 2 | On the floor under the clock cabinet, by the bottles | I stayed still as I waited; then his finger slid across my hand |
| 3 | On the floor beside the teddy bear | It was a cold hand, body was trembling |
| 4 | Up on the left pillar after the bathroom | I stood motionless, holding his hand, and waited for it to pass |
| 5 | At the bottom step of the exit stairs | As my consciousness faded into the mist, I thought I heard a phone |
| 6 | Inside the Options menu | No message |

Fragment 1 — plant pot by the clock
Go to the hallway cabinet holding the digital clock. A potted plant sits beside it. Aim your view into the pot rather than at the clock or the portrait above it, then hold R3 until the fragment registers.
Fragment 2 — floor under the clock
Stay at the same cabinet and look down at the floor beneath it, near the scattered bottles. The piece blends into the surroundings, so lower your camera and adjust the angle until the zoom locks on before holding R3.
Fragment 3 — by the teddy bear
Continue down the corridor to the teddy bear lying on the floor near the phone. Look at the area beside the toy, close to the ground, and hold R3. It sits low enough that rushing through a loop will carry you right past it.
Fragment 4 — pillar after the bathroom
After passing the bathroom door, turn back and aim upward at the pillar on your left. The fragment is higher than eye level, so tilt the camera toward the ceiling. If it remains out of view, adjust your position a little and inspect the pillar’s upper section from another angle.
Fragment 5 — bottom of the exit stairs
Approach the stairs that descend to the loop-reset door. Before opening it, aim down and zoom in on the lowest step. This fragment is often missed by players who walk straight out, so inspect that final step before leaving.
Fragment 6 — hidden in the Options menu
The last piece is not in the house. Pause the game to open the Options menu, stay on the settings screen, and hold R3 to trigger the zoom. The sixth fragment registers right there in the menu.

This is the fragment most players overlook. If you have searched every corner of the hallway and still count only five pieces, open the Options menu before retracing your steps.
What collecting all six fragments does
Once all six pieces are found, the previously damaged portrait of Lisa near the digital clock is restored to a complete image. That restored portrait is your confirmation that every fragment has been collected.
Completing the picture does not hand out a weapon, open a separate ending, or finish the final puzzle for you. Its original role was to surface the multilingual messages, lines about whispering a name, waiting motionless, a trembling body, and a distant phone, that hint at the conditions for triggering the three baby laughs needed to reach the teaser’s conclusion.
You can finish P.T. without restoring the portrait. Once you’ve collected every piece, continue toward the last telephone sequence and the ending that shows its connection to Silent Hills.
