Grounded 2: How to Find All 5 Figurines and Unlock Rascal Rogue

Five figurines are hidden across the Rot & Ruin map in Grounded 2, and collecting them raises the Rascal Rogue mutation, which gives your melee attacks a chance to steal items from creatures mid-fight. Each figurine you grab also unlocks a recipe to build it as a decorative statue at your base.

Quick answer: Grab the Aphid, Weevil, Cockroach Queen, King Dozer, and Koi figurines from the locations below. One figurine unlocks Rascal Rogue Phase 1; all five push it to Phase 2.

What the figurines unlock

Rascal Rogue is a mutation that reads: “Sleight of hand seeps into your fighting style. Melee weapon attacks have a chance to steal items from opponents.” The stolen loot is an item the struck creature can normally drop. The more figurines you hold, the higher the steal chance climbs through the mutation’s tiers.

The mutation screen asks you to collect 10 figurines in total. Five of those are currently in the game, so the counter will read 5/10 once you finish the route below. That is enough to reach Phase 2 with the full set available today.

Each figurine you pick up also adds its statue to the Décor menu under Statues. These give Cosiness when placed at your base. The statues cannot be recolored with the Splat-Cher.

Aphid Figurine (Glowing Fissure)

From the bench in the Firepit area, make your way south to the tilted croquet mallet beside a fractured boulder above a hole.

Use a bomb to blast the fractured rock open. Drop into the opening and swim onward through the submerged pipe, which ends at the Glowing Fissure lab module.

Inside the observation deck, turn left and take the Aphid Figurine off the workbench.

Weevil Figurine (Hatchery Anthill)

Go to the Hatchery Anthill: South Entrance and ride an ant mount into the tunnel. Follow the black cable running along the floor to the left.

At the room with a ladder, take the right tunnel and chew through the dead roots blocking the way.

Enter the lab module on the left through the sliding door. The Weevil Figurine is on top of the computer terminal.

This lab sits at 13° N / 42° E near the Hatchery Anthill.

Cockroach Queen Figurine (Hedge)

Travel to the Hedge near the BURG.L statue and climb the hedge branches up toward the northern rose garden area.

Follow the red ribbon ramp upward and continue onto the elevated branches, which reach a compact office pod with a circular shape.

Step inside the pod and grab the Cockroach Queen Figurine from the round table.

King Dozer Figurine (Candy Processing Facility)

In the Veggie Garden’s northeast corner, find the Fairy Garden House. Enter the floor’s tunnel hatch and descend to the Candy Processing Facility.

Descend through the floor opening into the root cavern. On your way, either fight the O.G.R.R. Rust Beetle or sneak past it.

Move to the storage area and pick up the King Dozer Figurine from the corner of the floor behind the candy container.

Confirm the spot at 78° N / 44° E on the map.

Koi Figurine (Monitoring Station)

Work through the Abyss Monitoring Station questline so the station is accessible.

Board the Pneumatic Transit System beside Abyss Outpost #2 and ride to the Monitoring Station. Follow the hallway to the observation deck above the Raw Science reservoir.

On the room’s left, collect the Koi Figurine from a small metal cart with wheels and multiple tiers.

The cart sits at 0° N / -63° E at the Monitoring Station.

How to confirm Rascal Rogue is unlocked

Open the Active Mutations screen after each pickup. The first figurine flips Rascal Rogue to Phase 1, and the counter under the mutation will tick up as you collect more. Once all five are in hand it reads 5/10 and the mutation reaches Phase 2.

To test it in the field, equip Rascal Rogue and keep hitting a weak creature with a melee weapon. When a steal triggers, the creature’s own loot, such as Raw Caterpillar Meat from a Caterpillar, drops straight into your inventory before the kill. Check the Décor menu under Statues as well; each collected figurine adds its matching statue recipe there.
