A Path Not Yours arrived with the Frozen Trail update and plays out across the southern end of the Blue Gate map in ARC Raiders. It follows a Nomad trail that starts beneath the Highway Collapse and ends at a buried cache, where you dig up a quest item and carry it back to safety.

Quick answer: On Blue Gate, inspect the rock under Highway Collapse, dig up the Broken Compass at the collapsed bridge, extract with it in a Safe Pocket, then hand it to the Nomadic Envoy.

What to bring to Blue Gate

You finish this run carrying a quest item, so an augment with a Safe Pocket is the one thing you should not leave without. Blue Gate sits at difficulty 4 of 5, so a weapon you trust, spare ammo, and healing items keep a bad encounter from costing you the Broken Compass.

The Nomadic Envoy hands you two Ziplines when the quest begins. The main objectives do not require them. If you intend to clear the optional stash, keep at least one Zipline on you.

A Path Not Yours objectives

The quest runs in order within a single raid, with one optional step mixed in before the handover:

  • Locate where the Nomad route begins beneath the Highway Collapse.
  • Navigate by the route markers until you arrive at the Nomad hideout.
  • Retrieve Bilguun’s gift from the cache buried beneath the hideout.
  • Optionally, take the Secret Stash from inside Bilguun’s hideout.
  • Give the Nomadic Envoy the Broken Compass.

Walkthrough: Highway Collapse to extraction

Deploy onto Blue Gate and move to the Highway Collapse in the southwestern part of the region. Look for a glowing rock sitting roughly over the letter “o” in “Collapse” on the map, and interact with it to clear the first objective. The inspect animation runs long, so drop a smoke grenade first to stay hidden from ARC machines and rival Raiders while it plays.

Head west along the bridge toward the point where it breaks apart. The hideout objective updates the moment you reach the collapsed western section, so there is no need to chase the faint trail markers one by one.
At the collapsed section, check the base of the bridge pillar for a spot you can dig. Interacting with the buried cache drops the Broken Compass. Move it straight into your Safe Pocket before you do anything else.

The Broken Compass is lost on death if it is in open inventory. Place it in your Safe Pocket the instant it appears, not after the next fight.

Extract and return to Speranza. The Forest Airshaft sits close to the bridge, so use it if it is open. The compass only counts toward completion once you leave the map with it.

Optional: Bilguun’s Secret Stash

After grabbing the Broken Compass, look up. A small opening sits inside the broken span of the bridge, and that is Bilguun’s hideout. Fire one of the Ziplines from the Envoy up to the gap, ride it in, and open the Secret Stash crate.

Opening the crate sets off a Deadline mine. It does no damage here and only triggers a firecracker effect, so there is no reason to leap for cover when it goes off. This step is entirely skippable if you only want the main rewards.

A Path Not Yours rewards

RewardQuantity
Tellurion1
Magnet2
Battery2
Power Cable2
XP2,500

The Tellurion is an epic trinket you can sell to top up your stash. The Magnets, Batteries, and Power Cables are better kept for crafting.

Confirming the quest is complete

Once you are back at Speranza with the Broken Compass, open the Quests menu and deliver it to the Nomadic Envoy. The quest clears when you claim the turn-in and the Tellurion, Magnets, Batteries, and Power Cables land in your inventory alongside the 2,500 XP. If the compass never left the map with you, the delivery step will not be available, so run the extraction again before trying to hand it over.
