Serpent Breathing is a Tier A style in Slayers 2, built around mobile close-range combat and attacks that curve around an opponent’s guard. Unlocking it is gated behind a level threshold, a set of materials, and a run of six training tasks handed out by the Serpent trainer, Obari.
Quick answer: Reach Level 25, bring 1,000 Wen, 20 Demon Horns, and 5 Beast Cores to Obari between Windy Peak and Bamboo Grove, then finish his six training tasks, ending with the Serpent Trainee fight.

Serpent Breathing requirements in Slayers 2
Obari will not start the training until you have everything below. Farm the materials first so you do not have to make the trip twice.
| Requirement | Amount | How to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Level | 25 or higher | NPC quests, mobs, mini-bosses, bosses |
| Wen | 1,000 | NPC quests and defeating enemies |
| Demon Horns | 20 | Demon mobs, mini-bosses, and bosses |
| Beast Cores | 5 | Beast Born Demons (50% drop) |
Beast Cores are the slowest piece to collect, since each Beast Born Demon has a 50% chance to drop one. Keep killing them until you bank five.

Add to Google Preferences →Where to find the Serpent trainer Obari
Obari is in a hollow on the mountain separating Windy Peak and Bamboo Grove, between its two peaks. Follow this route to reach him.

All six Serpent Breathing training tasks
Obari sets six tasks, and you must clear them in order. The first five are training minigames spread across Butterfly Estate and the mountains, and the last is a fight. The quest marker points you to each location as it unlocks.
1. Meditation
At Butterfly Estate, head for the Set Spawn Crystal, then enter the nearby large house. Go into the second room and use the mat on the floor. As a yellow bar moves across the screen, click whenever it passes over the white bubble. Keep going until the meter is full.
2. Push ups
Stay in the same house and move into the next room to find a second mat. Interact with it to start the minigame. White circles appear, and you click the moment the inner circle is about to meet the outer ring. A clean hit counts as one push-up and clears the task.
3. Boulder Split
Head to the two giant boulders on the mountain between Windy Peak and Bamboo Grove. Interact with either boulder to begin. Drag each slider that appears to the end of its line; once all of them are across, the boulder splits in two.
4. Boulder Push
The challenge is in the maze between Windy Peak and Mistfall Harbor, immediately behind the Boulder Split spot. At one end of the maze, find the two boulders and interact with either one. A white arrow indicates the direction to push; move the boulder to that point within two minutes, or the challenge will restart.
The boulder passes through certain walls and rocks, letting you take small openings to shorten your route.
5. Aim Training
Head back to the Target Shooting area at Butterfly Estate, close to the building where you meditated. Interact with a target board to begin. Click each target as it appears and continue until the training ends.
6. Defeat the Serpent Trainee
After teleporting to the Windy Peak Shrine, ascend the mountain on your right to locate the Serpent Trainee mini-boss. Defeat it to complete Obari’s training.

Confirming the unlock
Once you defeat the Serpent Trainee, Obari’s training is complete and Serpent Breathing is granted immediately. Next, open the Skill Tree and use your skill points on its forms, from Serpent Slash through the ultimate, Slithering Serpent. Clearing all six tasks lets you equip the style and develop it.
