How to Unlock the Skelicorn in Adopt Me (Halloween 2026)

The Skelicorn is a Legendary skeleton unicorn with wings, added in Week 2 of the Adopt Me Halloween Event (2026). You cannot buy it straight from a shop. It sits as a pile of bones inside a locked cage, and you have to revive it first by powering the generator next to it.

Quick answer: Open sarcophagi in the Crypt with Crypt Keys down to Lower Level IV, collect the Lightning Lever, install it in the generator beside the caged Skelicorn near the Manor, then buy the revived pet for 120,000 Candy Corn.

What you need before you start

Two things gate the Skelicorn: Crypt Keys to find the Lightning Lever, and enough Candy Corn to buy the pet once it is revived. You can gather both at the same time during the event.

Crypt Keys come from two sources: daily event tasks award 4 per day, and each victory over the Ghost Gallery minigame boss grants 1.
120,000 Candy Corn to purchase the Skelicorn after it is revived.
Each completed pet need pays 200 Candy Corn, and a full Ghost Gallery round pays up to 5,000.

Unlocking the Lightning Lever makes the pet available to buy, but doesn’t grant it to you. Keep collecting Candy Corn as you make your way through the Crypt.

Where the Skelicorn cage is

The caged Skelicorn stands near the Manor, in the same area as the Crypt entrance. Use the directional signpost around the event world and choose “Crypt” to fast travel there. Walk past the Manor and you will see the skeleton bones locked in a hanging cage, with a broken electrical panel right next to it.

If you interact with the panel now, it prompts “Install Lightning Lever” and tells you something is missing. That missing part is the lever, and it is hidden inside the Crypt.

How to find the Lightning Lever in the Crypt

The Lightning Lever is a reward hidden in a sarcophagus. You have to work your way down through the Crypt’s floors to reach it. Each level has one coffin that contains a ladder or stairs leading to the next level down.

Enter the Crypt from the entrance near the Manor. Inside, you will see rows of sarcophagi, each with a lock you can open using one Crypt Key.

Open sarcophagi on the upper floor until you uncover the stairs down. Most coffins reward 1,000 to 3,000 Candy Corn or a Crypt Twig; one hides the way to the next level.

Keep descending. When a coffin reveals a staircase, you will see the message “There’s a way down…” Follow it through Lower Level III and down to Lower Level IV.

On Lower Level IV, check the rewards board, which shows the Lightning Lever icon. Open the sarcophagi here until you get the message “You found Lightning Lever!” The lever is Uncommon and untradable.

The exact coffin that holds the lever varies from run to run, so there is no fixed sarcophagus to target. Keep opening them on Lower Level IV until it appears.

Revive the Skelicorn and buy it

With the lever in your inventory, exit the Crypt and run back to the generator next to the cage. Click the panel and choose “Install Lightning Lever,” then pull the switch.

A cutscene plays where lightning strikes the cage and reassembles the bones into a living Skelicorn, with the on-screen text “IT’S ALIVE!” After the revival, interact with the Skelicorn in the cage and the shop prompt “Buy Skelicorn / 120000 Candy Corn” appears. Confirm the purchase to add it to your inventory.

You will know it worked when the “New Pet Discovered! SKELICORN” screen shows up and the Skelicorn enters your pet inventory. It also advances the Halloween 2026 journal completion.

If the Lightning Lever never shows in your Crypt rewards, you may have started a Crypt run before the October 9 update. Finish that run and reach the Mummy Spider so the Crypt resets, then run it again and the lever should appear in the available rewards.

Making a Neon Skelicorn

Once you own four Skelicorns and have aged each one to full grown, you can fuse them into a Neon version. Travel to the Neon Cave, find the NPC Nixie, and place all four Skelicorns on the fusion pads.

The fusion produces one Neon Skelicorn. Its mane, horns, wings, and paws shine with a fiery gradient that shifts from orange to red. The Neon pet discovery screen confirms the result.

The Skelicorn and its Neon form are limited to the Halloween Event, which runs through October 31, 2026. After the event ends, the pet becomes trade-only, so unlock it before then if you want to earn it directly with Candy Corn.
