Ride A Pet has activated its Halloween event, bringing a themed world to the map, introducing Halloween Tokens as a distinct currency, and offering an egg available only during the event. Rather than searching the overworld for eggs as usual, players gather candy while disruptive screen effects make the task harder, then exchange it for tokens.
Quick answer: The event is live now. Pick up candy in the Halloween zone and get it to the Drop Off Candy station while it is still fresh to receive Halloween Tokens. Spend 350 tokens for the Halloween Egg. No codes can be redeemed.
Reaching the Halloween event area
From the main ranch, a large hollow carved pumpkin tree acts as the portal into the event. Stepping through swaps the bright overworld for a dark map with red ground, spooky trees, jack-o’-lanterns, and a corn maze. A timer sits above the portal, and the in-game counter reads roughly 28 days of runtime.

Pickups are spread throughout the map, not concentrated in a single location. Check the perimeter trails, tunnels, and the space around the central station for candy. To keep earning, use a repeatable route connecting spawn points with the drop-off.

Add to Google Preferences →Candy, curses, and Halloween Tokens
Candy earns Halloween Tokens, the event’s currency. Collecting a piece from the ground triggers two effects: a countdown labeled “Candy Will Spoil” begins, and a negative curse takes hold while the candy remains in your possession.

The curses change the camera or controls so the trip back is awkward. They include:
- Upside-down or inverted vision
- Limited vision, with a darkened spotlight around the screen
- A spiral visual distortion
- Reversed movement and camera panning
- Glitch jumpscares that trigger every 1–2 seconds

Bring every piece to the Drop Off Candy station next to the entrance cauldron and deposit it while its spoil countdown is still running to collect the payout. If the screen is flipped, follow the green arrow bearing a house icon toward the station. A token popup after depositing confirms that the candy was counted.

Candy is not all worth the same. Pieces pay out at different rates, from small amounts up to +12 Halloween Tokens each, and the higher-value candy tends to sit further from the central drop-off, toward the outer edges of the map. That trade-off is the reason to loop the perimeter rather than circling the cauldron.

The Halloween Egg and the Premium Halloween Egg
Find the stall labeled “Halloween Eggs” to purchase the event-exclusive egg. Interacting with it brings up the “HALLOWEEN EGG!” menu, which displays a Limited Time badge and a price of 350 Halloween Tokens. The egg costs the currency earned through play, not Robux, so gather 350 tokens before buying each one.

In addition to the token stall, the in-game Shop offers a Premium Halloween Egg for Robux. It comes in roll bundles, and its Instant Hatch label means it skips incubation. The listed contents include the Gelator Dragon and the Sabertooth.
| Purchase option | Robux |
|---|---|
| 1 Roll | 60 |
| 5 Rolls | 280 |
| 50 Rolls | 2800 |
A different Shop item, the Giant Egg, also bears an Instant Hatch label and is described as producing a random HUGE pet. Use the Index menu to review your collected pets and eggs and see which tiers you own before spending tokens.
Halloween Eggs that spawn in the world
A Large Halloween Egg may spawn on its own anywhere across the map. A server banner announces it and gives its weight, with examples including 254.2 KG and 15 KG. Its luck can reach exceptionally high values; one egg showed a clover stat of 1 Trillion. Collecting it triggers an “Egg Will Break” countdown.
If you fail to reach a base or nest before the countdown runs out, the egg disappears. The timer is brief, and the egg must be carried across the map, making a flying mount like the Phoenix the practical choice for transporting it in time. The base game’s rule for moving Solaris, Azure, and Volcanic eggs also applies to this Halloween version.
Weather and mutation events occur in sync with world egg spawns. During those periods, you may see announcements like “Dreadful Storm Has Arrived” and alerts that a pet received a Void or Rage trait, as the event adds mutations to the egg spawns.
New pets and changed hatch odds
Beyond the candy loop, the update expands the roster. It adds 10 new pets, 1 new secret pet, and 3 new Ethereal pets, and it adjusts several existing hatch chances.
- Buffed odds in the range between Cerberus and Kitsune
- Buffs for Dragon and Griffin
- 2 new pets added to the Volcanic Egg
- Buffs to the Black Hole and Solarius eggs
The event layer sits on top of the game’s wider roster, which still includes the Blackhole, Cherub, Galaxy, Aurora, Dragon, and Flame egg families.
Ride A Pet codes
Ride A Pet has no code redemption menu, and there are no active codes to enter. No reward-code system has been added for Halloween, so the candy-to-token loop and the egg stall remain the only in-game progression path for the event. You can confirm the live state of the event by opening the Ride A Pet experience on Roblox and reading the current title and description.
How long the event runs
Roblox’s Virtual Events listing gives the Halloween event a window of 10 October to 17 October 2026, 13:00 UTC, which is 21:00 China Standard Time on each date. The same event id previously appeared under the name Update 4 before being renamed. In-game, the timer above the portal shows about 28 days, which suggests the token-earning loop stays accessible well beyond the dates in the listing.
The stall marks the egg as Limited Time, so the safer approach is to bank tokens early rather than leaving a full 350 to the last days of the window.
