Lift a Rock for Eggs is a Roblox strength-grinding game built around a simple trade. You build up Strength by working out, use that Strength to lift the heavy boulder blocking a zone, then steal the egg sitting behind it while a giant animal chases you back to your plot. The egg hatches into a pet that earns cash per second, and that cash pays for faster training, better trails, and bigger plots.
Quick answer: Train Strength on the Bench Press to lift zone rocks, grab the egg behind each lifted rock, outrun the guardian back to your base, and place the egg to hatch a cash-generating pet. Rebirth resets Strength for a permanent money multiplier.
The core loop: lift, steal, run, hatch
Every zone is gated by a rock with a Strength requirement written on it. Walk into the rock and hold the lift action, and a meter fills until the boulder rises out of the ground. The starter rock in the Meadow needs only 70 Strength, so a fresh account with 0 Strength and $50 can clear it almost immediately.
Lifting a rock exposes an egg. Grabbing it triggers the zone’s guardian, a giant animal that sprints after you the moment you pick the egg up. You have to carry the egg back to your plot before the guardian catches you. If it does, you drop the egg and get reset back to base, and you have to go back out for it. Speed matters here, which is why the Treadmill exists alongside the Bench Press.

Back home, you place the egg on your plot. A timer counts down (“Your Egg is hatching…”), and when it hits zero you open it to reveal a pet. That pet sits in a pen and produces a steady stream of cash per second, which funds everything else.
Night falls periodically, a moon timer runs down, and the game announces “The rocks are falling back from the sky!” That resets every lifted boulder across all zones back into the ground, so rocks you already cleared have to be lifted again.

Zones unlock in order, each one guarded by a heavier rock and its own animal. The jump in Strength between biomes is steep, which is what forces the long training and rebirth grind.
| Zone | Strength to lift | Guardian |
|---|---|---|
| Meadow | 70 | Giant Chicken |
| Desert | 50k | Giant Llama |
| Volcano | 200k | Giant Pig |
| Snow | 1.6M | Giant Bear / Capybara |
| Crystal | 20M | Giant Gorilla |
| Jungle | 250M | Giant Elephant |
| Candy | 1.4B | — |
Some zones also contain bonus rocks with their own values, like the 3M Volcano bonus rock and the 80M Jungle bonus rock, that hide additional eggs. Lifting is a hold-and-fill action, so the on-screen meter shows your progress toward the target before the rock pops free.

How Rebirth works
Rebirthing wipes your current Strength back to 0 but keeps your Speed and your pets. In exchange, each rebirth grants a larger permanent cash multiplier, and the next rebirth needs more Strength than the last. Because the multiplier stacks on your pet income, early rebirths pay for themselves quickly once your gym is upgraded.

| Rebirth | Money multiplier | Strength required |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | x1.5 | 1K |
| 2 | x2 | 1.8K |
| 3 | x2.5 | 3.1K |
| 4 | x3 | 5.4K |
| 5 | x3.5 | 9.4K |
| 6 | x4 | 16.4K |
Gym tiers and training speed
Training happens on two machines. The Treadmill raises Speed, and the Bench Press raises Strength. Both become available after you upgrade your plot for $100 to unlock the gym. Upgrading the gym itself bumps the amount of Speed and Strength you gain per step, and the tiers climb sharply.
| Gym tier | Speed & Strength per step |
|---|---|
| Wooden | +5 |
| Metal | +12 |
| Nature | +30 |
| Ocean | +75 |
| Frozen | +190 |
The next tier after Frozen is Lava, priced at $25B. At the Frozen tier, with rebirth multipliers and a strong trail active, each bench set can add tens of thousands of Strength, which is how players push past 1M Strength to reach the later zones.
Trails and their training bonuses
Trails are cosmetic streaks that follow your avatar, but each one also carries a training multiplier, which makes them the main way to speed up both Strength and Speed gains. They can be bought with in-game cash or with Robux, and the percentage boost scales with the rarity.
| Trail | Training bonus | Rarity | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ghost Dash | +50% | Common | $100 / 12 R$ |
| Sunny Mist | +250% | Legendary | $30M / 200 R$ |
| Red Racer | +300% | Mythic | $750M / 360 R$ |
| Cosmic Storm | +400% | Cosmic | $20B / 560 R$ |
| Shadow Veil | +600% | Secret | $500B / 800 R$ |
| Phoenix Blaze | +900% | Eternal | $12.5T / 1,200 R$ |
| Electro Zap | +1300% | Divine | $300T / 1,600 R$ |
The Exclusive Shop and Crystal King Egg
The Exclusive Shop sells permanent Robux gamepasses that change the pace of the whole game. x2 Power (128 R$) doubles the Strength gained from training, x2 Hatch Speed (120 R$) halves egg timers, and x2 Money (96 R$) doubles sell income. Once bought, each shows a confirmation such as “You received DoubleStrength!”
The same shop carries the Crystal King Egg for 80 R$. It hatches into a high-rarity pet on a weighted roll: Mythic 50%, Cosmic 30%, Secret 15%, Eternal 4%, Divine 1%. That spread is where many of the strongest pets come from.

Pets, rarities, and the secret tier
Pets are ranked from Rare and Uncommon up through Legendary, Mythic, Cosmic, and the top Secret tier. Their value is measured two ways: the cash per second they earn while penned, and a weight in kilograms that reflects how physically huge the model is. Secret pets can tower over the entire base plot.
| Pet | Rarity | Cash/s | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Albino Tiger | Secret | $2.64M/s | 186K kg |
| Mystical Rhino | Secret | $319.9K/s | 48.9K kg |
| Crystal Scorpion | Cosmic | $1.7M/s | 1.5K kg |
| Galaxy Wolf | Mythic | $567.3K/s | 2.1K kg |
| Lioness | Legendary | $59.4K/s | 64.4K kg |
| Snake | Uncommon | $249/s | 353 kg |
| Blue Ladybug | Rare | $25/s | 159 kg |
The Albino Tiger, pulled from the Candy zone, is the standout earner at $2.64M per second, far ahead of anything below the Secret tier. A “Pet Size” toggle switches between a trimmed display size and the pet’s true scale, which is useful when a model like the Mystical Rhino blocks your view of the plot.

Big Brock’s Stash and plot space
Big Brock’s Stash is a limited-time glowing golden rock that spawns in zones. Lifting it opens a prize track where you tap the first card to claim it and the rest slide over, mixing free rewards like cash and Strength boosts with Robux unlocks. Trails sometimes appear here at a discount, such as Cosmic Storm dropping to 12 R$.

Plot space is the other limiter. The gym unlock costs $100, and later expansions add more pen slots, with a 19-slot upgrade priced at $250M. More slots mean more pets earning at once, which compounds with rebirth multipliers to push total income into the billions. Between the zone gating, the rebirth cycle, and the scaling pet values, Lift a Rock for Eggs is a layered idle-and-grind game where a clean restart can reach Secret pets and over $8 billion in a single extended session.
