In the Roblox game Clone to Steal Eggs, progress follows a repeating three-part loop: build Speed by running on a treadmill, dispatch clones to take eggs from the creatures guarding them, then hatch those eggs into pets that generate cash every second. Developer xFrozen x Dudes presents these actions as the game’s entire foundation; everything else is there to increase those values.
Quick answer: Train Speed on treadmills, dispatch clones from the summoning portal to steal eggs in zones like Desert, Winter, and Jurassic, bring the eggs back to hatch pets that earn cash per second, and spend that cash on faster treadmills, bigger bases, and rebirths.
The core loop: train, clone, steal, hatch
You start by following the tutorial arrow from spawn to your base, where you build the summoning portal. The portal produces clones, and each clone can be sent out to a target creature to steal an egg and carry it home. Your Speed stat is shared with every clone you own, so training once benefits the whole crew.

Stealing is a chase. The creature guarding each zone will catch a clone or your own character if you are too slow, and a caught runner loses the egg and respawns. A “RUN!!” banner appears on screen while you are holding a stolen egg, signalling that the guardian is active. Meeting a zone’s recommended Speed before dispatching is what keeps your clones from dying empty-handed.
Back at base, eggs become pets. Each hatched pet adds a fixed amount of cash per second, and that passive income funds the next round of upgrades. You can also steal eggs personally instead of waiting on clones, which is how early rarities like the Bat Egg get grabbed before your Speed is high enough to automate it.

Add to Google Preferences →Treadmills and the Speed stat
Speed is the stat that gates everything. You stand on a treadmill and it trains automatically, and higher-tier treadmills add far more Speed per second. The jump from one tier to the next is steep, which is why reaching the late zones takes trillions of Speed and beyond.

Treadmills are bought with cash, and the higher tiers also carry a Robux price for players who want them sooner. These are the documented tiers and their rates.
| Treadmill | Speed/s | Cash cost | Robux |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | +1 | — | — |
| Silver | +3 | 500$ | 5 |
| Golden | +20 | 10K$ | — |
| Diamond | +100 | — | — |
| Devil | +500 | — | — |
| Desert | +2.5K | 5M$ | 16 |
| Aqua | +12.5K | 50M$ | — |
| Lava | +60K | — | — |
| Galaxy | +1.5M | 15B$ | 64 |
| Jurassic | +7.5M | 100B$ | 112 |
| Frozen | +37.5M | 750B$ | 200 |
| Sakura | +180.8M | 10T$ | 320 |
| Hacked | +937.5M | 100T$ | 520 |
| Balrog | +5B | 1Qa$ | 720 |
| Toy | +25B | 10Qa$ | 1240 |
| Village | +125B | 100Qa$ | 1600 |
| Magia | +625B | 1Qi$ | 1800 |
| Void | +78.1T | 1Sx$ | 2800 |
Beyond treadmills, Speed also comes from aura trails in the Trail Shop (the rainbow trail is reported at a x3 multiplier), Train Potions that double the training rate for ten minutes, and Robux speed multipliers that scale from x1.5 all the way to x4096. Event-pass items add further shortcuts, including the secret Demon Treadmill, bought through tier skips, which carries a x100M power rating.
Zones, guardians, and Speed gates
Each biome holds a different egg and a creature that guards it, and each one lists a recommended Speed. Send a clone in below that figure and it gets destroyed and comes back with nothing. The Manage Clones menu shows every target, its recommended Speed, and a steal counter.
| Zone | Guardian | Recommended Speed |
|---|---|---|
| Green / Chicken | Chicken | Starting target |
| Desert | Snake | 5,000 |
| Winter | Yeti | 1 million |
| Jurassic | T-Rex | 100 million |
| Ocean | Whale | 750 billion |
| Volcano | Dragon | 100 trillion |
| Galaxy | Dark Sentinel | 10 Qa |
| Spirit Blossom | Sakura Beast | 300 Qi |
| Balrog Cave | Balrog King | 950 Sx |

An egg’s rarity is separate from the zone where it was found. The documented levels are Normal, Gold, Diamond, Radioactive, and Rainbow, and rarer eggs provide much stronger stat and cash multipliers. For example, a Rainbow Snake Egg from the Desert hatches into a far better earner than a plain one.

Pets, base capacity, and cash per second
Pets are the income engine. Every pet you hatch and equip adds cash per second automatically, and that cash buys everything else. Your base has a limited number of pet slots, so you upgrade base size with cash to fit more earners and raise your income ceiling.

Slots are limited, so the Equip Best option keeps your strongest earners active while Sell All clears spare low-tier pets for cash. The Auto Hatch gamepass hatches stored eggs instantly, which matters once clones are delivering eggs faster than you can open them by hand. Pets also arrive from gamepasses, event eggs, trading, and playtime rewards, not only from stealing.
Clones: the crew that does the stealing
Clones are what turn a single runner into a production line. The Portal Upgrades and clone upgrade tracks raise how many clones you can field at once, how many steals each can make, and how fast the portal summons them. A fully upgraded setup fields eight clones at a time.
Because Speed is shared across the whole crew, training is the single investment that keeps every clone viable as you move up the zone ladder. Steal Upgrades, bought in the base menu, raise how much each run brings back.
Rebirths and long-term progression
Rebirth is the long-game reset. It costs only cash and applies a permanent cash multiplier that doubles each time (x2, x4, x8, and up). Your pets, clones, Speed, and upgrades all stay; the price is the only cost. That price climbs fast, so the number shown on the in-game rebirth option is the one to read rather than any fixed figure.
Rebirth tiers run up to a maximum rank of 11, and some players buy tier skips with Robux to jump ahead. Reaching the final biomes, Galaxy, Spirit Blossom, and Balrog Cave, takes stacked Speed multipliers up to x4096, the highest treadmills, and several rebirths working together.
Codes for potions and starter pets
Codes hand out single-use potions and two pets. Potions last ten minutes once activated from the Potions section of the Shop. Cash Potions double cash earnings, Train Potions double the Speed training rate, and Luck Potions double the Luck stat. The Yeti pet earns 30,000 cash per second and the Lizard earns 35, which lets a new player reach the 1 million cash mark quickly.
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
| FIX1 | 1 Cash Potion |
| UPD1 | 1 Cash Potion |
| TRAIN1 | 1 Train Potion |
| LUCK1 | 1 Luck Potion |
| Magia | Yeti pet |
| Release | Lizard pet |
Codes are redeemed from the in-game Shop. Open the Shop, switch to the Codes tab or scroll to the code box, type an active code, and confirm it; the potion or pet then lands in your inventory. The codes are not case-sensitive, so spelling matters but capitalisation does not. You can launch the game from its official Roblox page.
The game receives weekly updates on Saturdays, and new codes tend to appear alongside them. Taken together, the treadmill-driven Speed curve, the clone crew, and the pet income form a self-reinforcing loop: more Speed opens richer zones, richer eggs make stronger pets, stronger pets pay for faster treadmills, and rebirths multiply the whole thing each time you reset.
