After the purchase, you see “Instrument Unlocked: Tamer’s Guitar”. Open the Equipment Bag from hotbar slot 2, go to the Instruments tab, and press Equip under the Tamer’s Guitar. The button then reads “Equipped”. Close your bag to finish that tutorial step.
