A wave of new Aniimo is coming to the island-catching RPG, and the clearest look so far comes from a stretch of beach-and-reef footage pulled from a recent closed beta test alongside promotional clips from Chinese platforms. It shows a full set of marine creatures tied to a coastal area, a spring-tailed electric weasel, a dark bat evolution, and a long reel of concept art for beasts still being built.

Quick answer: The marine Aniimo lines (Coral, Leaf Sheep, octopus, walrus and Sea Angel) arrive with Whisperwake Isle on October 29, 2026. Everything else shown is unreleased beta footage or future concept work with no date.

When the new marine Aniimo arrive: Whisperwake Isle on October 29

Whisperwake Isle, previously available in an earlier closed beta, is set to become accessible on October 29, 2026—the date Part One of Season 1 ends. Its arrival opens up a fresh stretch of coast and introduces the island’s sea-themed Aniimo to the live game.

The creatures tied to that region were sealed off during the beta and are listed by their English names: Malangel, Maleversa, Reefish, Coraliz, Cheekie, Glameep, Wavwal, Bubbeep, Popapus and Gachapus. The beta footage previews several of these lines in detail under their earlier development names.

The team has outlined a broader seasonal roadmap: each season lasts 84 days, arranged as two 42-day phases, and brings a region players can explore. A water-based region comprising five islands and one area yet to be revealed is also confirmed for a future release, though its timing hasn’t been announced.

The marine Aniimo lines previewed from the beta

Five base lines and their evolved forms appear in the research notebook and profile screens. Each carries a Dex number, one or two elements, and a combat role.

Leaf Sheep line (No. 088 and No. 089)

The Leaf Sheep line is a dual Grass and Water healer that comes in two coats, a bright green and an iridescent pastel purple. The base form bounces around the shore, and the evolved form shows up as a boss encounter in the footage.

Its kit leans on bubble-based healing, and the skill card shown in the preview highlights that support function.

Coral Fish and Coral Dragon (No. 084 and No. 085)

This line is a dual Earth and Water type built around energy recovery. It starts as a small, rounded coral fish and evolves into a four-legged draconic coral beast.

Sea Dunce and Surfing Walrus (No. 086 and No. 087)

The walrus line is an Ice-type Break specialist. Its headline trick is a team shield worth 55 percent of lost health that lasts 20 seconds, and the evolved form slams down in combat.

Bubble Octopus and Gacha Octopus (No. 090 and No. 091)

The octopus line is a Water-type ranged DPS that fires random bubble capsules. There is a 1 percent chance for a golden bubble and a 33 percent chance for other colors. Rolling multiple matching colors triggers a buff that grants 60 percent bonus normal-attack damage for 10 seconds, so its damage leans on probability.

Sea Angel and Clione Demon (No. 073 and No. 074)

Sea Angel belongs to the Ice type and reaches its butterfly-winged sea clione form at level 50. That evolved form can undergo a dark change called “Demonize,” while footage also shows an electric variant surrounded by a thunderstorm.

Hoptail, the spring-tailed electric weasel

Hoptail is an Electric and Water weasel with a coiled, spring-loaded tail that it uses to launch itself onto high terrain. The preview build gave it a pathfinding skill called High Jump and a trait built around elastic potential energy, and showed it fighting an Alpha Turbo sheep in the overworld.

The displayed stats are HP 77, ATK 77, Break 50, Physical Defense 67, Magic Defense 67 and MP Recovery 100. Its listed weight spans 8.73 to 13.04 kg, and its height ranges from 0.63 to 0.77 m. Among its branching evolutions are a four-legged electric badger and a streamlined, two-legged lightning fighter.

The Phantom Thief bat and other leaked evolutions

One branch from the large-eared Thienten leads to a bipedal, winged bat. This dark-and-wind assassin sports wings in red and black, cuts through dashes with scythe-like strikes, and finishes with an aerial ultimate. Leaked clips include both its combat sequence and a complete model turnaround.

Other brief promotional footage features an evolved mushroom shaped like a UFO, a flying squirrel, a witch-like mushroom with branching mushroom evolution routes, and a green frog alongside a leaf-headed tadpole perched on a lily pad.

Fan-designed and concept Aniimo still in development

A longer stretch of the footage covers art sheets and 3D models for beasts that are early in development, including two community design-contest winners. None of these have a release window.

  • Thunder Cloud Jaguar — a black-and-purple feline marked with yellow lightning, shown in four-legged and two-legged forms.
  • Blue and White Porcelain Ice Peacock — a contest winner styled after traditional Chinese porcelain and snowflake feathers.
  • Smelting Furnace — a fire-type iron cauldron brought to life, filled with molten fire and wielding a blacksmith’s hammer.
  • Ice Cream Blobfish — a blobfish from the deep sea topped with an inverted soft-serve cone.
  • Mechanical Shark — a missile-like shark with a torpedo profile and drill and saw components.

The reel also runs through a boxing mantis shrimp, a mantis warrior called Battle Bug, a baby peacock chick, a purple horned imp, an armored scorpion king, a cannon-shell turtle, a flaming eagle and clusters of floating ice crystals.

Verified stats for the new Aniimo already in the live game

While the beach footage is all unreleased, the live game has already added its own batch of new catchable Aniimo. These numbers come straight from the shipped build, so they are the figures to plan around now.

AniimoElement(s)RoleBase catch chance

InferlupaDark, FireBreak28%
WaleetleRockDPS19%

Irisalis is the Legendary Grass Aniimo added in the September 22 update, sitting at Dex No. 10001 and element level 4. It leans hard into offense with 130 attack and 130 magic attack, backed by 108 EP regen, and it has no shiny or dark rate because it is a seasonal keepsake capture rather than a wild spawn.

Inferlupa is the three-headed Dark and Fire Break evolution of Flameruff, at Dex No. 4. Its base spread includes 95 HP, 108 BP attack and 80 magic defense. Its Prismana form is the next Vein Abundance boost, appearing at Nimbus Fields from October 12 to 18, 2026.

Waleetle is a Rock-type DPS at Dex No. 57 that spawns in Berylline Vale between levels 40 and 47. It carries 90 HP with 114 in both attack and magic attack. Wild catches have a shiny rate of 0.005% (1 in 20,000).

Melloblum rounds out the group as a Grass support at Dex No. 35, evolving from Budsquire and found in Rosetower Woods. Its kit centers on petal-scattering heals and buffs rather than raw damage, with 113 attack and 113 magic attack on paper. For anyone chasing the sea creatures later this month, these are the live-game Aniimo worth building in the meantime.
