Bluebell is one of the first scrooms you will run into when you start playing SCROOMS, and it is about as easy to add to your Index as a creature gets. It lives in the opening area, shows up often, and answers an ordinary instrument. Here is exactly what it is, where it sits in the Index, and how to catch one.

Quick answer: Bluebell is a Common scroom in Songkeeper’s Grove. Equip an instrument in hotbar slot 1, play near the spawn area, win the tuning and catch minigame, and it is logged automatically.

Where to find Bluebell in Songkeeper’s Grove

The reliable spot is the grass right around the spawn sign, among the cluster of red wooden houses. Play your instrument there and Bluebell is one of the creatures that can answer. Which scroom responds to a song is decided by the game, not something you pick, so repeat the catch if a different creature shows up first.

Bluebell’s Index entry: rarity and frequency range

Bluebell’s Index card is headed “Common Scroom,” which puts it in the lowest rarity tier and explains why it turns up so readily. Its printed frequency is 45 Hz – 75 Hz. Every Bluebell you catch lands on its own value inside that band, shown on its backpack card and in the catch message.

The flavour line on the entry reads “He emits a faint light!” — which matches the small white creature in a spotted blue cap that gives off a subtle glow. An uncaught card is just a black silhouette labelled “???”; catching a single Bluebell fills it in.

Scroll the entry down and you get two more blocks. The “Stats:” block tracks your Highest Frequency (the best single catch so far) and the Date caught. The “Tones:” block lists three lines — Melodic, Harmonic, and Resonant — each reading “Caught: <date>” or “Uncaught.”

Tone prefixes create variants of the same scroom, such as “Melodic Bluebell” or “Harmonic Bluebell.” A scroom may have both prefixes, as in “Melodic Harmonic Bluebell.” On the Index card, a gold star shows Melodic has been caught, while a cyan star indicates Harmonic.

How to catch a Bluebell

Every scroom uses the same catch flow, and a Tamer’s Guitar handles Bluebell fine. Head to the grass near the spawn sign and follow the steps in order.

Hold an instrument from hotbar slot 1 and click to play it near the creatures. This starts the catch attempt and calls a scroom over.
Click again on the ring when it comes up. Then keep the pin sitting on the white dot while you tune, so the frequency locks onto the creature’s pitch.
Keep the scroom inside the sliding catch zone until the bar under the track fills completely. Once the bar is full, the scroom is caught.

You can play SCROOMS on Roblox.

How to confirm the catch worked

When the bar fills, an on-screen line reads “You caught: Bluebell! Frequency: <n> Hz,” with the frequency being whatever value rolled inside the 45–75 Hz band. The creature also drops into your backpack as a card carrying that same frequency.

Back in the Index, the black “???” silhouette is replaced by Bluebell’s card, and the Stats block updates with your Highest Frequency and the date. A catch at 74.4 Hz is near the top of the range, which is what shows up as the recorded best.

Rarer scrooms in Songkeeper’s Grove

Bluebell shares the Common tier with Redcap and Toastbud. If you are working through the area’s full page, these are the creatures that sit above it on rarity.

ScroomRarity
BluebellCommon
RedcapCommon
ToastbudCommon
BloomcapUncommon
AcornubUncommon
BurlcapRare
DewleafRare

Bloomcap and Acornub are Uncommon, while Burlcap and Dewleaf are the Rare catches in the Grove. All of them answer the same catch sequence you just used on Bluebell, so once the tuning and catch-zone timing clicks, the only thing that changes is how often each creature shows up.
