What’s live: the Kaiju & God Mode Update
The Kaiju & God Mode Update is the marquee event right now, with about a day left before it wraps on October 24. It’s the clear headline by interest: about 120,000 players have marked it interested, far ahead of anything else on the calendar.
The update’s centerpiece is God Mode, where one player turns into a god and tears the city apart while everyone else scrambles to survive. Alongside it are Kaiju Riot, a co-op fight against a city-stomping monster that pays out bonus coins, and a Superhero Showdown that has players backing the villain against the hero. New Versus and Destruction Rush matches round out the modes, and a daily shared city gives everyone the same skyline each day with a race to smash it fastest for a top-100 spot. Two maps join the rotation — Paris, complete with the Eiffel Tower, and a ski resort — along with weapons like the Giant Cat, Grow Ray and Mega Snowball. Clearing the update’s challenges unlocks the Kaiju and the Supervillain for good.
What’s next: the October 24 update
The moment the Kaiju event ends on October 24, Kabooom Crew moves straight into its next update, scheduled to run through October 31. The developer hasn’t announced what’s inside yet — only that the date is reserved for the next drop — but it has already drawn interest from about 76,000 players.

Update 2 — the Firenado update (October 11–17). The previous drop added seven coin-unlockable weapons, led by the steerable Firenado, a building-slicing Ray Cannon, a pile-up Zombie Horde, a Monster Truck, an Ogre Outbreak, a city-wide Blackout and a Giant Foot, plus a Time Control toy and two maps — the beachside Vi City and a military base. It also brought controller support, and drew about 73,000 interested players.
8 New Weapons (October 4–10). An earlier update handed out eight new ways to flatten a city — the Laser Bomb, Big Bulldozer, Fire Rain, Battle Top and Anvil among them, with a Dragon, Mega Mech and Sharknado on the Robux side — and opened a Workshop for playing and building custom cities. It was a smaller moment on the calendar, with about 2,000 interested players.
