Luck and trails are the two upgrades in Lift Rock For Eggs that speed up progress the most. Luck changes the odds of pulling rarer pets from eggs, while trails stack a flat percentage bonus onto the strength you gain from training. Both are handled through in-game menus, and the key ones live in the Exclusive Shop.

Quick answer: Buy Server Luck in the Exclusive Shop for 199 Robux to go from x1 to x2 luck, then open the Trails menu and equip a trail for its training bonus (ranging from +0% up to +300%).

Increase luck with the Server Luck gamepass

Luck controls how likely you are to hatch rarer pets from the eggs you collect. The only direct way to raise it is the Server Luck gamepass, sold through the Exclusive Shop. Buying it moves your luck from x1 to x2 for the whole server, so every egg you open afterward has better odds of a high-value pet.

Open the Exclusive Shop from the on-screen menu. It lists Server Luck alongside VIP and the booster passes.

Select Server Luck, priced at 199 Robux, and confirm the purchase. The label shows the jump from x1 to x2.
Hatch an egg to put the higher luck to work. Rarer pets pay out more cash per second, which funds the rest of your upgrades.

The same shop also sells VIP for 160 Robux, which adds VIP safe zones and a VIP chat tag. It does not change luck, so skip it if your only goal is better egg odds.

Two other passes in the same list speed up related loops. x2 Hatch Speed (149 Robux) halves the time eggs take to open, and x2 Money (120 Robux) doubles the cash you earn from selling pets. Neither affects luck, but both shorten the grind between egg pulls.

Every trail and its training bonus

Trails do one thing: they add a percentage bonus to the strength you gain each time you train. A higher bonus means each rep on the gym equipment builds more power, which lets you lift bigger rocks sooner. The effect is direct and stacks onto your training, so the trail you equip matters as much as the gym gear you buy.

TrailRarityTraining bonusCost

Plasma ZoomEpic+200%$1.5M or 129 Robux
Sunny MistLegendary+250%$30M or 249 Robux
Mythic trailMythic+300%$750M

Leaf Drift is the starter trail. It gives no training bonus and exists mainly as a cosmetic default, so replace it as soon as you can afford anything higher.

Splash Wave is the first real upgrade and is bought with in-game cash, making it the natural early target before you spend Robux.

Plasma Zoom and Sunny Mist can each be unlocked two ways. Pay the cash price if you have been grinding, or buy them directly with Robux to skip ahead. The highest tier, the Mythic trail, is cash-only at $750M, so it is a long-term goal rather than a quick purchase.

Because trails boost training strength and luck boosts pet quality, the fastest setup pairs a high-percentage trail with Server Luck. Your trained strength lifts bigger rocks while your luckier pets fund the next trail.

How to equip a trail

Open the Trails menu from the HUD. It lists every trail with its training percentage next to it, and shows which ones you have unlocked versus which are still locked.
Pick the trail with the highest percentage you can afford and buy it with cash or Robux as listed. Once purchased, select it to equip it.
Head back to the plot and train on the gym equipment. A trail is active when the particle line follows your avatar as it moves, and the strength you gain per rep reflects the new bonus.

Pets, eggs, and where luck pays off

Luck only matters because of pets. Eggs are hidden under the rocks you lift, and hatching them produces animals that generate passive cash every second. Each pet’s rate depends on its weight and rarity, so pulling rarer pets, which Server Luck makes more likely, raises your income without any extra effort.

You can hold several pets at once. Open the Active Animals menu to see each pet and its cash-per-second rate, then use Equip Best to automatically slot in your top earners. A typical early lineup might include a Brown Mouse at $227/s, a Snake at $196/s, and a Brown Dog at $64/s.

When a pet is no longer worth a slot, take it to the Sell Animals stall to convert it into cash. That cash feeds straight back into cash-priced trails and gym upgrades, closing the loop between luck, pets, and training.

With Server Luck doubling your odds and a high-percentage trail boosting every rep, the two systems reinforce each other. Spend on the trail you can afford now, keep hatching eggs for better pets, and the cash from those pets will carry you up the trail tiers from there.
