Makeup Frenzy Events Schedule: Update 1 Recap and What’s Next

Makeup Frenzy rolled out its first scheduled content drop in October, a wide-ranging release the developer simply called Update 1, and it remains the most significant addition the game has made so far. The update reworked how players build a face, widened the creative toolset, and added a public space for showing off finished looks.
The experience itself is a makeup and styling competition: you design looks, dress up your character, play through themed rounds, and vote on other players’ creations to earn rewards, with the whole thing taking cues from Makeup Mania. It has grown into one of Roblox’s busier style games, with about 7,200,000 visits and about 30,000 favorites, and about about 920 players in it right now.
As of October 22, no new event sits on the calendar after Update 1, which ran across October 10 and 11. We keep this page current as Makeup Frenzy’s schedule changes.

Update 1: the game’s biggest content drop
Update 1 went live on October 10 at 3:30 PM ET and wrapped the following afternoon, October 11, at around 1:00 PM ET — a window of roughly a day. Around 650 players marked interest in it ahead of time, a modest but telling turnout for a game this size.
The headline change was a rebuilt face editor. Players can now shape individual features — nose, eyes, and lips — and adjust the jaw, while a dedicated Brow Studio handles eyebrows through presets, fine sliders, and solid fills for a cleaner result.
The drawing side grew too. A fuller set of brushes — pencil, ink, watercolour, charcoal, sponge, spray, and glitter among them — joined the toolkit, alongside smoother drawing performance, a “My products” list for recolouring or removing anything you’ve applied, and an easier-to-spot mirror button.
Cosmetic variety expanded with 38 piercing designs across four metal finishes, placeable either on fixed points or freely across the face, and 70 additional hairstyles that can be filtered by type, from braids to afros to updos.
Finally, Update 1 added a Public Lookbook where players post their looks, like and comment on others, and climb daily, weekly, and all-time rankings. Reworked lighting with manual controls and a dark mode rounded out the release.
What’s next for Makeup Frenzy
The developer has not announced a follow-up event or dated the next update. Because Update 1 was the game’s first formal content drop, there isn’t yet a visible cadence to read into — a second scheduled event would be the first sign of a regular rhythm. We’ll add it here as soon as one appears on the calendar.
