Cat Battles
Cat Battles: The Reaper Is Here Start Time & Countdown
Cat Battles is Cute Malt Games’ sumo-style brawler built around one simple idea: push, slap and toss every other cat out of the ring until one is left standing. It has grown into one of Roblox’s busier experiences, drawing about about 43,000 players at the moment, with about 45,000,000 visits over its lifetime and about 100,000 favorites.
This page covers the game’s in-game event calendar — what is live, what is coming next, and what recently wrapped. The headline item right now is the Halloween event the developer is calling The Reaper Is Here, billed as the second chapter of its Halloween run. It opens at noon ET on Saturday, October 24 and stays up through noon ET on Saturday, October 31, and more than 200,000 players have already flagged it as one to watch.
We keep this page current as Cat Battles’ schedule changes. Last updated October 22.

Current and upcoming events
The Reaper Is Here (Halloween Part 2)
The Reaper Is Here is the next event on the calendar and the biggest draw by a wide margin. It runs from noon ET on Saturday, October 24 through noon ET on Saturday, October 31 (9 a.m. PT / 4 p.m. UTC at the start). According to Cute Malt Games’ event description, it leans into a graveyard theme — players drop ghosts into their graves for rewards — and ships new maps to fight on. With over 200,000 players already marking interest, it is pulling far more attention than anything else the game has run this month.
The developer has also teased a third Halloween chapter for the following week, but hasn’t said yet what it will include — so for now it’s a promised drop with no announced details. Exact start and end times for the Reaper event are shown in the schedule above.
Something Is Coming (Aliens??) — recently ended
Just before the Halloween push, Cat Battles ran a short alien-themed event the developer titled Something Is Coming, tagged with a cryptic “not an update” note. It opened at 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday, October 14 and closed at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, October 17. It was a smaller affair than the Reaper event, drawing fewer than a thousand interested players. With that event ending on October 17 and the Reaper event opening exactly a week later, Cute Malt Games has been rolling out fresh content on a roughly weekly cadence through October.
