Lesser Manastone is the entry-level engraving stone in AION 2, a Common-grade consumable that drops one random stat into a Manastone slot on any weapon or piece of armor. It is the cheapest way to add bonus stats early, and the raw material you feed into the Alchemy chain for stronger stones later.

What Lesser Manastone does
Engraving a Lesser Manastone fills a Manastone slot with a single stat line. It is not a fixed gem. The stone first picks one of nine stats, then rolls its value tier. The common value lands 70 percent of the time, and the stronger rare value the remaining 30 percent. HP and MP carry a heavier weight than the combat stats, so you will see them come up most often.

Lesser Manastone cannot roll the percentage Damage Boost lines or any PvP stats. Those belong to Superior and Abyssal stones. Because every stat line also adds to Item Level, even a mediocre roll helps you clear the next gear gate while you are still leveling.
How to engrave a Lesser Manastone
N for quick access, or open it through the Closet menu after pressing ESC. Move to the Manastone tab. Weapons, guards and armor use Manastones here, while accessories use Soulstones on their own tab.
Verification is simple. The slot shows its new stat line immediately on the item, and the engraved value appears in the stone list for that piece. To reroll, engrave again with another stone.
A reroll replaces all slots at once. There is no permanent lock on a single good line, so a new engrave can overwrite a stat you wanted to keep.
Where to farm Lesser Manastone
The tradable Lesser Manastone drops from monsters, and the best rates sit in Chaotic Middle Reshanta. Several elite and ancient enemies there drop it at 1.96% per kill, which works out to roughly 117 kills for a 90 percent chance at one. Field enemies in Altgard, Verteron and Chaotic Lower Reshanta drop it at lower rates.

Abyssal Mutated Ancient Destroyer gathers in the Contaminated Marsh of Chaotic Middle Reshanta with 41 spawn points, which makes it the most reliable single farm. The Distorted Old Growth Forest holds dense Abyssal Ancient Revenant packs at the same rate.
Quest, dungeon and reward sources
A Bound version of the stone comes from progression content and cannot be traded. Several Episode quests hand over five Lesser Manastone (Bound) each on completion.

In Deus Research Base, Atiel drops the Bound stone at 30 percent on its level 56 and 60 versions, and Talisra of the Void in Shattered Arkanis matches that rate.
Crafting and trade-in value
Lesser Manastone is the base ingredient for Intermediate Manastone through Alchemy. At Alchemy mastery 20, the recipe needs 5 Lesser Manastone, 3 Spiritstone Powder and 2 Professional Ink, with a base success rate of 72.9 percent. This is the main reason to stockpile the Lesser version rather than reroll it endlessly on gear you will replace.
You can also hand in 5 Lesser Manastone through a Supply Request to collect 500 Abyss Points and 70 Enhance Stone. The stone itself sells for 3 Kina, stacks up to 10,000, and can move freely through Character Storage, Server Storage, and both public and personal trade.
Manastone engravings are lost when gear goes through normal Gear Transfer. For quick Item Level gains, put Lesser stones on temporary leveling gear, send spare stones through the Alchemy chain, and reserve stronger ones for equipment you plan to keep.
