The Lesser Soulstone is the entry-level stone you engrave into accessories in AION 2 to add random bonus stats. It sits at tier 1, carries a Common grade, and is usable from level 1, which makes it the cheapest way to start squeezing extra numbers out of your rings, earrings and necklaces.
Quick answer: Lesser Soulstone drops at a 5.0% rate from several level 51–54 enemies. Engrave it into an accessory’s Soulstone slot through the Enhancement menu to roll one random stat.

What the Lesser Soulstone does
Engraving a Lesser Soulstone into an accessory’s Soulstone slot imbues the item with a single stat. The type of stat and its value are decided by chance, so each engrave is a roll rather than a fixed upgrade. Soulstones only go on accessories; the matching item for weapons and armor is the Manastone, which uses the same roll system.
Every roll lands in one of two grades. A Basic result is the white, common line, while a Superior result is the green, higher-value line. Superior rolls hand out bigger numbers but come up far less often, as the chances below show.
| Stat | Basic (chance) | Superior (chance) |
|---|---|---|
| Attack | +1 (7.000%) | +3 (3.000%) |
| Defense | +10 (7.000%) | +30 (3.000%) |
| Accuracy Bonus | +5 (7.000%) | +7 (3.000%) |
| Evasion Bonus | +5 (7.000%) | +7 (3.000%) |
| Critical Hit | +5 (7.000%) | +7 (3.000%) |
| Critical Hit Resist | +5 (7.000%) | +7 (3.000%) |
| Block | +7 (7.000%) | +10 (3.000%) |
| HP | +30 (10.500%) | +60 (4.500%) |
| MP | +15 (10.500%) | +30 (4.500%) |
HP and MP carry the highest odds on both grades, so a plain Lesser Soulstone leans toward survivability lines more than offense. If you need an Attack or Critical Hit line, expect to roll several times.

The tradeable Lesser Soulstone comes from creature drops. It does not drop from ordinary low-level open-world enemies; instead it appears on tougher mobs in the level 51–54 range, each dropping it at a flat 5.0% rate.
- Abyssal Ancient Revenant (levels 51 and 54)
- Abyssal Mutated Ancient Destroyer (levels 51, 53 and 54)
- Enraged Garzykan Swordsman (levels 51 and 54)
- Enraged Garzykan Guardian (levels 51 and 54)
- Abyss Drakan Strike Force Captain (level 54)
- Fragment Guardian Elite Duelist (level 54)
Because the stone can be traded, you can also buy it from other players on the Market if you would rather not farm. It sells to vendors for 10 Kina, so the Market value is what matters when you are stocking up.
A separate Lesser Soulstone (Bound) exists with the same effect and stat pool. That version cannot be traded and comes from quests, Transcendence runs of Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis, the Abyssal Forge: Ludra raid, achievement rewards, the Daeva Pass and certain chests.

How to engrave a Lesser Soulstone
Engraving again rerolls the stone line rather than adding a second one. There is no stat-lock, so a reroll replaces whatever you had. If you land a result you like, stop before you gamble it away.

Crafting with Lesser Soulstone
The Lesser Soulstone has no recipe of its own, but it feeds into the next tier. At Alchemy mastery 25, five Lesser Soulstone plus three Spiritstone Powder and two Professional Ink craft an Intermediate Soulstone at a 72.9% base success rate, with a 20% combo chance. A higher-mastery batch recipe at mastery 45 scales the same ingredients up tenfold.
Intermediate Soulstone keeps the same engraving effect but belongs to the next grade up, so turning spare Lesser Soulstones into them is the natural progression once you have more than you need for early accessories.
