The Lesser Abyssal Manastone is a Rare stone in AION 2 that you engrave into the Manastone slots on weapons and armor. It does not add a fixed bonus. Each slot it fills rolls one random stat from a fixed pool, and both the stat and its value are decided by chance.

Quick answer: Buy the Lesser Abyssal Manastone from the Abyss Points shop for 1,000 Abyss Points, or earn copies from the Filled with Abyssal Manastone achievement chain.

What the Lesser Abyssal Manastone does

Engrave the stone on a piece of gear and it imbues an open Manastone slot with a single stat. Weapons, guards and armor take Manastones, while accessories use the matching Soulstone instead. The stone sits at the lowest of three sizes, so its possible values are smaller than the Intermediate and Superior versions, but the stat list it draws from is the same.

Lesser Abyssal Manastone stat pool and roll chances

When the stone fills a slot, it first picks a stat, then picks one of three value tiers: Basic, Superior or Ultimate. The value climbs with the tier, and the chance of landing a stat drops as the tier rises. The table shows the value and the per-roll chance for each tier.

StatBasicSuperiorUltimate
Attack+1 (3.000%)+3 (2.100%)+5 (0.900%)
Defense+10 (3.000%)+30 (2.100%)+50 (0.900%)
Accuracy Bonus+5 (3.000%)+7 (2.100%)+10 (0.900%)
Evasion Bonus+5 (3.000%)+7 (2.100%)+10 (0.900%)
Critical Hit+5 (3.000%)+7 (2.100%)+10 (0.900%)
Critical Hit Resist+5 (3.000%)+7 (2.100%)+10 (0.900%)
Block+7 (5.000%)+10 (3.500%)+15 (1.500%)
HP+30 (4.750%)+60 (3.325%)+100 (1.425%)
MP+15 (4.750%)+30 (3.325%)+50 (1.425%)
PvP Attack+2 (2.500%)+6 (1.750%)+10 (0.750%)
PvP Defense+20 (2.500%)+60 (1.750%)+100 (0.750%)
PvP Accuracy+10 (2.500%)+14 (1.750%)+20 (0.750%)
PvP Evasion+10 (2.500%)+14 (1.750%)+20 (0.750%)
PvP Critical Hit+10 (2.500%)+14 (1.750%)+20 (0.750%)
PvP Block+10 (2.500%)+14 (1.750%)+20 (0.750%)
PvP Critical Hit Resist+10 (2.500%)+14 (1.750%)+20 (0.750%)

Add the three tiers together and each core combat stat lands at about 6% per roll, Block at 10%, and HP and MP at 9.5%. The Ultimate tier is where the big numbers come from, but it is also the rarest result, so most slots will roll the Basic or Superior value.

Abyssal vs regular Manastones

The Abyssal family looks like a step up because it is Rare grade instead of Common, but the stat values match the regular Manastone of the same size. The difference is where the weight goes. An Abyssal stone shifts roughly a third of its pool into PvP stats, which pulls each core combat stat down from 10% on a regular stone to about 6% here. Block stays at 10%.

That makes the Lesser Abyssal Manastone a PvP-leaning stone. For dungeons and raids, a regular Manastone gives better odds on the stats you want with the same values. Save the Abyssal rolls for a set built around PvP Attack, PvP Defense and the other PvP lines.

How to get the Lesser Abyssal Manastone

There are two reliable ways to pick one up, both tied to the Abyss side of the game.

  • Abyss Points shop: buy it for 1,000 Abyss Points.
  • Achievement rewards: earn copies from the Filled with Abyssal Manastone chain.

The achievement chain pays out as you bind Ultimate grade or higher Manastones and Soulstones to gear. The first rank, Filled with Abyssal Manastone I, grants two Lesser Abyssal Manastones (Bound) for binding 5 times, and the second rank gives two more for binding 20 times. Later ranks move up to Intermediate and Superior Abyssal Manastones.

The shop copy is tradable, so you can also buy or sell it on the market. The achievement copies arrive bound and stay on your account.

Crafting with the Lesser Abyssal Manastone

The stone itself has no crafting recipe, but it is the base material for the Intermediate Abyssal Manastone. The recipe runs through Alchemy at mastery level 85, worked at an Alchemy Table in Dawn Legion Base, Verteron for Elyos or in Altgard for Asmodian.

  • 5× Lesser Abyssal Manastone
  • 5× Spiritstone Powder
  • 3× Professional Ink (Bound)

Each craft produces one Intermediate Abyssal Manastone and has a 20% combo chance. If you are stockpiling Lesser stones you will not use on gear, this is the way to roll them up into a larger size with a bigger value table.
