Candy is the limited-time resource that powers the Halloween event in Ride A Pet. You gather it inside the event zone and carry each piece to the Drop Off Candy station, where it converts into Halloween Tokens. Those tokens are the only way to buy the Halloween Egg from the event shop, so steady candy runs are what fill out your seasonal pet collection.
Quick answer: Enter the Halloween zone after finishing Rebirth 1, pick up candy from the ground, houses, or spoiled pumpkins, then deliver it to the Drop Off Candy zone before its spoil timer hits zero to earn Halloween Tokens.

Unlock the Halloween zone first
The event portal only opens after you complete your first Rebirth. Once that requirement is done, head behind the Gears Shop from the spawn area. Look for the large hollowed-out tree portal glowing with orange lanterns, sitting near the Ranches, and step through it to load into the Halloween hub.
If the portal does not let you in, you have not finished Rebirth 1 yet. Complete it, then return to the portal.

Add to Google Preferences →Three ways to collect candy
There are three reliable methods inside the zone. Each one starts a spoil countdown the moment candy lands in your hands, so plan your route to the Drop Off Candy station before you grab anything valuable.
Ground candy
Candy pieces spawn across the map, scattered along trails, tunnels, the corn maze, and the outer edges near the Gears Shop entrance. Walk up to a piece and hold E to pick it up, then carry it straight to the deposit zone. This is the simplest method for a quick start and has the shortest spoil risk when you stick to pieces near the station.
Trick or Treat at the houses
A cluster of houses sits to the left of the Drop Off Candy area. Interact with any front door to trigger Trick or Treat. A treat drops candy on the doorstep, while a trick leaves you empty-handed. The amount and rarity you receive are random, and a short cooldown follows every knock, so rotate between doors instead of waiting at one.
Spoiled pumpkins
Travel to the far end of the zone, where a group of pumpkins sits. Some of these are spoiled, and searching one rewards large amounts of high-rarity candy. This is the fastest route to tokens per trip, but the walk back is longer and the best candy spoils quickly, so only commit when you can make the return cleanly.

Spoil timer and candy curses
Picking up any candy starts a “Candy Will Spoil” countdown. If the timer reaches zero before you reach the station, the candy spoils, you see a “Your Candy Spoiled! Grab Another” prompt, and the trip earns no tokens. Higher-rarity candy pays more but drains its timer faster, so weigh the distance before grabbing a rare piece far from the drop-off.
High-rarity candy also inflicts a temporary curse that lasts until you deposit it. These effects make the return trip harder:
- Upside-down vision that flips the camera
- Limited vision with heavy dark fog
- Reversed movement and camera panning
- Glitch jumpscares every one to two seconds
- Movement and jump height cut to one-third
- A spiral effect that twists the screen
When a curse takes hold, track the green arrow marked with a house on your screen. It leads directly to the Drop Off Candy zone, keeping you on route when controls are reversed or your view is blocked.
Turning candy into Halloween Tokens
Every candy you deposit at the Drop Off Candy station converts into Halloween Tokens. The payout depends on the candy’s rarity, ranging from +2 to +15 tokens per piece. Common candy pays the least but travels safely, while legendary and epic candy pay the most at the cost of faster spoilage and a curse.
You know a delivery worked when the token count rises on screen with a “+X Halloween Tokens” message as the candy registers at the station.

Spending tokens on the Halloween Egg
Take your tokens to the Shop Guy at the Halloween Eggs stall in the zone. A single Halloween Egg costs 350 Halloween Tokens and no Robux. Because each delivery only yields a handful of tokens, reaching 350 takes several full candy runs, so bank your first egg early before building a larger stock.
The Robux Shop also offers a Premium Halloween Egg. The Skeletal Dragon is a rare pet, and this egg gives it a 1% hatch chance. The token-based egg remains the primary way to get the seasonal pets; the premium egg is a paid alternative for players pursuing the rarest mount.
Keep your fastest mount equipped before each run, since the spoil timers punish slow travel on foot. Prioritise spoiled pumpkins for bulk high-rarity candy, loop the outer edges on the way back, and deposit before any curse or timer costs you a trip.
