The organ puzzle sits in the Great Organ Room of Notre-Dame, where corrupted purple pipes block the way forward. Beneath the giant organ runs a row of 14 floor keys, each marked with a zodiac symbol. You clear the corruption by playing three melodies, stepping onto the keys in the exact order shown on each Melody Sheet.
Why the organ is blocked
In the Transept, the corrupted purple pipes stop you from moving on. Inspecting them gives the note “THE CORRUPTED PIPES OF THE NOTRE-DAME ORGAN”: “This is the noxious work of Death. He’s corrupted the pipes connected to the organ.”
A Spirit under the stairs in the Great Organ Room points you toward the fix: “Find the melodies of Music Masters of Notre-Dame, and you shall clear this corruption.” Each melody you complete lights a glowing clef in the pipes and opens another section of the path.

Reading from the left, they are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Sun, Moon, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The matching symbol is marked on the floor under each key.
Keys activate on contact, so there is no button to use: jump onto one, or cross it by walking or sliding. It depresses and lights up, producing a green beam and a chime. Completing a melody makes the organ flash green and illuminates its corresponding clef in the pipes.
Each sheet shows its zodiac symbols printed left to right on a music staff. Follow that reading order, not the position of the keys on the floor.

Fugue of Notre-Dame (bass clef)
In the Great Organ Room, the Spirit beneath the stairs gives you the Melody Sheet for the Fugue of Notre-Dame. It is marked with a bass clef and four symbols.

Play the keys in this order: 1) Moon, 2) Sun, 3) Moon, 4) Virgo. Counting left to right along the floor row, Moon occupies position 8, Sun position 7, and Virgo position 6.
Playing the final key triggers a green flash from the organ, and a luminous bass clef appears among the central pipes. The route on the right opens toward the Collapsed Crypt.

Sonata of Notre-Dame (alto clef)
Get the Melody Sheet for the Sonata of Notre-Dame from a Spirit in the Sealed Scriptorium, who tells you: “Accept my final sonata to heal our sick Notre-Dame. May it bring us back to light.” The sheet uses an alto clef and has seven symbols, all on the right side of the row.

Play the keys in this order: 1) Sagittarius, 2) Capricorn, 3) Pisces, 4) Aquarius, 5) Capricorn, 6) Sagittarius, 7) Capricorn. From the left, Sagittarius sits at position 11 on the floor, Capricorn at 12, Aquarius at 13, and Pisces at 14.
Completing it lights the pipes green, chords play, and a green dome flash signals success. The path to the right opens.

Concerto of Notre-Dame (treble clef)
Take the Melody Sheet for the Concerto of Notre-Dame from a Spirit at the top of La Fleche, who says: “Take this concerto to cure our fair Notre Dame of this tragic misfortune.” The sheet uses a treble clef and has seven symbols, all on the left side of the row.

Play the keys in this order: 1) Gemini, 2) Cancer, 3) Virgo, 4) Leo, 5) Virgo, 6) Leo, 7) Gemini. Counting across the floor from the left, Gemini is in position 3, Cancer in 4, Leo in 5, and Virgo in 6.
On the last key, the organ glows green and a radiant treble clef appears in the pipes. Once all three melodies are complete, the corruption disappears; continue to the Transept, where the battle against Death’s Arcana, the Shadow, takes place.
